My uncle once told me that when he was a kid some of the young guys that lived on neighboring farms would put on waders and take calves and sheep down to the creek. They would put the hind legs of them into the waders with their legs, and walk them into the creek and the animals would start trying to back up to get away from the water. You can figure out the rest.

If the roads dry up tomorrow, I'm gonna get the 500 out and hammer the **** out of it. However, these cold road temps are not friendly to it, last time I was out it broke loose and started to get sideways at about 50 mph in second even with the TC and ESC fully on.

Yeah, ever had something that cost $50K+ of your hard earned money get sideways unexpectedly when you least expected it? That is a goddamm nightmare for a cheap bastard like me. 
Not to mention the thought that you might die soon when it does it. That passes quickly though, I've had scary fast unpredictable cars for years and know what to do. I just stay on the loud pedal, steer into it, hold on, let the smoke roll, and grab another gear. 
People behind you tend to freak out though.

Don't pick on my little buddy, I'm the only one that is allowed to do that (and a couple of others). He's probably the finest young man I've ever met. I might give him a hard time, but I'd stomp the **** out of anyone that was really being mean to him.

That sucks for them. Hopefully the weather will clear up and they can get out in it soon. I'm sure the looks on their faces will be priceless....make sure you have the camera ready.
