one more for your texters ... sitting at a redlite going home yesterday a kid pulls up beside me in a budweiser company truck and he is just texting away like mad .. after a few seconds i lunge foward about three feet ( even though the lite is still red ) 
.. he does`nt look up but nails it ... goes halfway thru the red lite then sees its` still red .. slams on the brakes and backs up quickly .. luckily no one hit him .. goofball ... i wasn`t the only one laughing at him

Your spider talk must have jinxed me around here too. I was out at the grill just seconds away from dropping some juicy T-bones on it when I looked down and this beast was about 3 inches from my bare foot....
Its hard to tell from the pic, but it had a sack of eggs it was carrying underneath it that was about the size of a marble. You can't even see the biggest part of its body in the pic because it was hanging down the back over the egg sack.
Only thing I had close by as a scale to give an idea of its size....
After I snapped the pic, the bastard stood up, grabbed the cig, put it in its mouth, and asked me for a light. I told it hell no, you shouldn't be smoking, you're pregnant.

We don't have any spiders like that here. What we call a wolf spider is actually black and furry with white dots. But they are no bigger than a penny.
Lots of grass spiders and what I call crab spiders, they make nests at nights and then huddle up in the middle and wait for something to come by. Of course we also have black widows, tarantulas, and brown recluses.

Lucky! At work there's massive spiders in the barn. And then ones about that size in the dirt I dig in and cut through to pull the bamboo out of the ground and pot it up. Scares the bajeezus out of me every time I see one inches from me
Don't squish those unless you get it all underfoot. Trust me there, dad squished one on the pool deck, sumb*tch exploded into 1000 baby spiders
