Have you looked at that combo in person? Pictures really don't do it justice.

Found out tonight the ******** running the craphole of a city I live in voted against moving any farther in the paving of our road. I will not vote for any of those morons again. Words cannot describe my disgust for them.

I've got about 2.5 acres. 1 acre is the yard with a hybrid Bermuda grass that I would mow weeklyandthe rest is a pasture of a native Bermuda that I could mow weekly or biweekly.
I plan to stay here a while and are looking for a long term mower. 10 years or so at least.
I have a good relationship with the local Kubota dealer as our business has bought from them in the past.
I originally was looking 60" but I think. 52" should do me just fine. Any recommendations based upon that info?

Well with what you say a zg227 with a 54" deck will work better for you, but it being a gas burner it will not get near the fuel sippage of a diesel. The 227 burns about a gallon of gas for every acre where the diesel will burn a gallon for about every 5 acres. By the way I now work at a Kubota and bobcat dealer in the service dept. Oh and the diesel will last a lot longer too I did an oil change the other day on one that had 6,000 hrs on it and it still ran like a champ

if you're gonna spend money, get the 60". Especially if you end up moving to somewhere with alot of land like I think you'd mentioned previously.

I love not having power in the hanger. We got half a day off cuz it is too hot inside the hanger and we cant work on the aircraft with no power.
