Anybody here remember listening to Kasey Kasem and the Top 40 countdown. I remember we used to listen on Saturday mornings while doing house chores in the 70's and 80's. Anyway. Here he is losing it.

I think I remember a guy after Kasem, something like Chuck Deas? but at that point in my life I stopped listening to top 40 completely. I think it was in '92 with Nirvana and also the discovery of college radio stations.

In addition to his radio shows, Kasem also provides the voice of many commercials, has done many voices for Sesame Street, was the voice of NBC, helps out with the annual Jerry Lewis telethon, and most notably, provided the cartoon voice of Robin, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo, Mark on Battle of the Planets, and a number of characters for the Transformers cartoon series of the 1980s. He is also the voice of "Out of Sight Retro Night" which airs on WGN America, as well as the voice of GM's On-Star navigation/help system.
