Hopefully it's just computer issues but I thought he's been using his cell to log on and check in.

Geez... yesterday sunny and 60. Today only 40, sleet, flurries, now full on snow. Time to fire up the wood burner!
They said it was coming but next week may finally open up. I'm putting insurance back on the Bullitt Monday regardless dang it!!
I put my street tires on the Cruiser on April 1. So yesterday I had some fun and opened it up a bit. I don't push it with the studs - it bends the studs and the tires are cheapo's. You know, under 55 when you punch it, the little 4 banger climbs pretty strong up to 70. They geared it right. Takin' it 70 to 90 takes a bit and 90 to 100, well... that's just embarrassing how long it takes.
The biggest problem is it weighs 3000#. But I read so does the new Focus.
Oh, and even though the Cruiser is FWD, they put a watts link on it from the factory. That is convincing! You just don't feel any body roll through the curves. Like to get one for 901 one of these days.

Only numbers I have are Gary and David's.
Ya, we had flurries here yesterday. 70s tomorrow.

My family and I are safe, just now getting in and settled down and getting power back. My hat is off to you Scott, you're a better man than me because I could never do what you do. It'll take a long time for me to get over what I've seen in the last 24hrs, if I ever do. In all my years of living in this region, I've never seen anything like this. No other way to describe it besides total destruction. I haven't slept, been going all day, exhausted, and I still don't think I'll be able to sleep with my mind packed full of the images it has taken in.
I will buy Jack Stands!!!
Infantry. They didn't have any slots for Airborne at the moment. His recruiter will keep looking to see if one becomes available before he goes to Benning and he isn't scheduled to go until October. If he can't get it before he leaves there is always the possibility they will have something while he is training. I hear that happens a lot.
Airborne is Infantry also
Airborne is Infantry also
Currently the plan is to go to the community college around here for 2 years, get my associates in Applied Science/Engineering, then transfer to the University of South Florida for Mechanical Engineering. Basically making machines, tools, engines, etc.
I'm really hoping to get this one scholarship, but I'm really scared I'm going to miss it by about .1 from my GPA... It's scary.
I'm ready to be done with high school though, got 16 school days left! Today was the state competition for band, we got a "Good" rating which is completely the middle grade, we got "Superior" at districts. Tomorrow is the last part of my senior exit project, Kiddy Lit. All seniors are in groups of 3-4 and have to make a children's book. Tomorrow we're going to Bashaw Elementary to read them to the kids. And then 2 Thursdays ago I did my career shadowing on a Welder/Fabricator. Learned quite a bit there, and I really like it, seems like a interesting career path, and as long as you're not a welder on an assembly line or such you get to do a million different things instead of just doing the same weld all day.
Yeah, I've been a little bit busy, sorry for stealin' your ear there

Did they ever extend those laws about you guys have to take the studs off your tires in I believe the start of April?
Got a trans fluid/filter change coming up here next week most likely... $200 down. Hate spending big chunks on preventative maintenence on that, but know I have to
