OK first off, I've been celebrating. 
So as I'm watching news, I start thinking "dang, I need to fire some rounds off!!
Dang right!! hic But I should shoot off several, and mix it up, so my neighbors know I'm celebrating, and not killing myself! Right?"
I start to get ready and the thought hits me... 'wait... dooon't dooooo that... cause that would be reeeallly dumb.
My herd is mostly only held in by electric fence, never hear an unnatural sound hardly (other then me and a few cars).
So 1 shot might spook them for a moment, but several?? In the dark?? A LOUD noise they're not familiar with?? That's gonna spook a whole herd, one runs they all run, they'll stampede and tear up all the fences, be loose runnin' free without halters, and I'll be up all night gatherin' 'em up and mendin' fences. Cussin' Osama all the while!
So I settled down, ate some steak, and watched fireworks...

in quiet peace in a Cascade mountain valley...

Seriously - these are my favorite fireworks. click the sky. bump your speakers.

On another note I should hear about that job this week. I have had 4 interviews and have been told it is between myself and two others. Keeping my fingers crossed. This would be a two level promotion for me.
