I wont be giving these out, it will only be for contacting in case of situations like has gone on and we are wanting to make sure our friends are ok. Sending address would be good as I could cross reference it with any storm paths that may have come through.

Got mine in this morning.

Gonna try to do a full detail on the GT sunday. Needs it really bad after this winter. Maybe it'll actually be black again. Took it out for a quick drive in the light rain tonight cause I was craving a root beer float like heck. Haven't driven it at night in a long time, but it actually felt really good. Stupid DQ was closed early though.

I know this sounds crazy Charlie, but believe it or not they actually have more than one university in Alabama.

Who'd have thunk it?

U of MN has five campuses in MN...and the twin cities campus can actually be split into three, so make that seven.

Well last time it came up on a newbie thread I asked Scott "what's an SEC?"

He thought I was kidding I guess.

University of Massachusetts has 5 locations here. Now all of the "state" colleges have changed their names and are now known as "universities".

theres prob a hundred or more colleges total in AL........ only two count apperently. In alabama you choose multiple things at birth.. religion, politiical affiliation, and football allegiance. Football is choosen first and helps dictate the rest.

Well I know I live next to the High Desert of Eastern OR, but camels??

Object lessons: The Merrill camel bones

H&N photo by Andrew Mariman
Giant camels once roamed the Klamath Basin, as evidenced by bones at the Klamath County Museum. The bones were discovered by workers filling holes in an irrigation canal.

Posted: Friday, April 29, 2011 2:30 pm | By SARA HOTTMAN H&N Staff Reporter Herald and News
Judith Hassen pointed to imperfections in the 2-million-year-old shoulder blade that was the size of 10 of her hands.
The giant bone, bigger than a serving platter, is accompanied in the Klamath County Museum display by a femur, the top of which is the size of two baseballs, and a tooth fragment as tall as a deck of cards.
Half a century ago, the same week Oregon celebrated its 100th year in the union, Klamath Irrigation District employees filling muskrat holes in a Merrill canal discovered the giant camel bones nestled in one wall of the canal.
Herald and News and Oregonian newspaper articles from Feb. 15, 1959, reported the three men called their irrigation district manager, who called for the museum.
