Hell if I know. Must be a Southern thing among the older generation. A lot of older people down here eat them. They'll split a banana down the middle, then cut it in half, and put on white bread slathered in mayo.
They also eat tomato and onion sandwiches covered in mayo.

Now as a kid on hot summer days we would have a tomato & mayo sandwich on white bread I haven't had one of those in years. But never with onion...

When to Vote
Polling locations generally open at 7am on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 and stay open until 8pm. If you're in line by 8pm, you will be able to vote. It's the law.
Where to Vote
If you live on or near campus, chances are your polling location is within walking distance. It's usually in some sort of civic building, such as a church, school, or community center. Find your polling location and list of candidates.
Not Registered to Vote? No Problem.
Minnesota has some of the most relaxed voting laws in the country. You can show up on Election Day and register on the spot. You'll need to show some sort of proof of residence, which is really easy. This could include a current Minnesota Driver's License, a utility bill, a student ID (if you live in a residence hall), or even a friend who is registered in the precinct who can vouch for you (seriously!). Click here for complete details on how to register.
Does my vote really matter?
To put it into perspective, the most recent United States Senate race in Minnesota was won with just over 300 (ya I wonder why...)votes. That's about the number of students in a large lecture class. So vote and bring a friend with you. You'll feel good about yourself.
More Questions?
Check out Voter Central, a portal dedicated just to student voting. It has answers to many questions and has helpful links.
One Final Thing
This message came from the Minnesota Student Association (MSA), the undergraduate student government at the University of Minnesota. In addition to promoting student voting, MSA works to advocate on issues affecting students and build a more engaged campus. If you'd like to stay in touch, follow MSA on Facebook, Twitter, or check out the MSA website.

If anybody wants to add anything it sure would be cool. Maybe we can get a TMS cookbook going.

I love fine cookbooks and most the time combine, mix & match recipes. So the more to draw from the better!

A Jacksonville mother charged with shaking her baby to death has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Alexandra V. Tobias, 22, was arrested after the January death of 3-month-old Dylan Lee Edmondson.
She told investigators she became angry because the baby was crying while she was playing a computer game called FarmVille on the Facebook social-networking website.
Tobias told investigators that she shook the baby, smoked a cigarette to compose herself and then shook him again. She said the baby may have hit his head during the shaking.
