Chance of rain here first of the week, but we need it badly back at home. We haven't had but about an inch of rain in the last 2 months. Dangerously dry, and has been all summer. Some counties have been declared disaster areas because of it. People have already been having to feed cattle winter hay because the pastures are so dried up. Expect the price of beef to go up.

Anybody else heard of Blackberry Smoke?

I just heard of them for the first time yesterday, and so far I like them. They have kind of an old school southern rock vibe like Skynyrd and a bit of a country feel, and a hint of blues (once again, like Skynyrd).
Not to mention some of them are Georgia boys.
Any opinions?
