My truck is sitting in a depot parking lot in Houston right now. It got off the train earlier this week and is sitting awaiting a transport truck to here. I'm only two hours away from it.

I think honeysuckles have a pretty universal look around this country We don't take the petals off, just pull out the long thing in the middle and you get the nectar.

I don't have any honeysuckles, but my bottle brushes are in full bloom as are the ligustrums. And I'm hoping for a good year out of my crepe myrtles, though I'll have to enjoy them from down the street now.

This is an example of a Natchez Crepe Myrtle (the kind I have but not as mature)
In this area it will flower for about 4-5 months.
