Got on my mom's good side today. She lost the diamond out of her engagement ring, and I got lucky enough to find it.

I see this guy every once in a while. Usually if I leave for work a little earlier than normal I see him.

For future reference: GT as it sits has 3.5" gap in front, 4" gap in rear.

Wish me luck...

ahhh... what a GREAT GREEN day!

Fired the Dark Highland Green Bullitt up (only 2nd time since Nov) and drove slowly to the mailbox (about a mile R/T) to charge the battery and warm it up till the fan comes on. It just sounds like heaven and feels great to be behind the wheel again!
About one more month till the ins goes back on for summer! Can't wait!!

Aren't dark highland green bullitts the most satisfying car to have this time of year?

WOW!

Is that from fender to tire? Or body to ground?

Because I don't think the Raptor has that much clearance in the fenderwells.

You truly have a 4x4 suspension.

Fender to tire.

Have to keep coming in to check on what I'm supposed to do. Someone used up all the paper.

I've probably got an inch of gap on 7. Maybe. If that much.

Slam that puppy Nathan.

I just had a revelation Jill.

If Sean is Eddie Haskell, then Nathan is "the Beaver".

Got the rears in without a problem. Only a .5" difference though. Gonna have to splurge for the H&Rs and a set of CC plates later this spring. Time for the front!

What exactly does it mean to "scribe the location" of the factory cc plate mean?

It means to mark the location. Trace around it.

So when you put it back you put it back in the exact same location and orientation.

Evidently there may be some play in it. If you didn't put it back the exact same way, your alignment would more than likely be off. Though you should have it checked anyway. But I'd wait till after your finished changing parts out unless you notice it pulling or wearing the tires.

So just the plate itself, or the bolts too? I've never messed with them before. The notch doesn't even have them.

Mark as much as you can with something temporary. Pencil. Wax pencil. Crayon. Whatever you can clean off later.
