40k of them are mine...so I'm up to like 60k miles that I can account for

long ways to go towards my dad though... well over 2 million is going to be hard to catch

How often do they overhaul/rebuild on a big rig diesel? 500k or so?

Sweet! I never seem to catch any of the milestones. I always notice right afterwards when it's like 65,000.7 or some dumb thing.

You finish studying that silly-bus. I do not miss professors. Pretentious. Condescending. Elitists.

I didn't even look at it. If there was something I was supposed to see for tomorrow, that's just too bad. Good night peoples. I'll see you on the other side. Tomorrow afternoon that is.

that's probably about right...

the cool part is that they just yank out the piston sleeves from the block, and replace them and the piston rings, and maybe the pistons....so block can go forever basically!

I did some construction work at a diesel engine overhaul shop and that's what they did. It was freaky when they pulled the entire cab off the truck to get at the engine.

I was at the Ford dealer once and they did the same thing. They were overhauling a F350 Super Duty and the guy said its easiest to just undo the wiring harness and undo the cab and lift it off the frame. It looked WILD!

it's also weird when I see my uncle standing on the frame next to the motor in his dump truck, and getting dwarfed

I wondered who the girl was during the football game that does the Verizon promos. Well apparently I wasn't the only one. There's just something about a brunette...

Rebecca Grant......Thank you!
