A black super stripe would not be the same. I think somebody makes some hidden pins that only go on the underside or something. You actually see nothing from above.

In all honestly I never cared for the hood pins. It was a must have for keeping the hood on the car. I've always thought they looked like giant steel nipples on the car.

I'd go with that Kaenan hood in a second were it not for the stripes.

And my thoughts exactly on the fuel door. I think I'll be ordering one soon.

Well I guess that decides it then...

Cervini 2.5" cowl hood with flat black stripes and no pins to start out with
20" Foose Legend black wheels with machined lip
Saleen big brake kit on front, and powder coat the rear calipers to match (black)
Change the fuel door to all black

Last thing...I think I'm ready to remove the side stripe too. I don't like it anymore either.

It would be a huge PITA to install. I never want to install these stripes again. If I could find a way to have them painted and have it last, I would do it in a second.

Knowing that you are picky like me, I would have to look at one of those hoods in person first. May just be the angle the reflections are coming from, but that one looks wavy as hell and the angle of the front lip doesn't match up too well with the fenders. You would never be satisfied with that.

I hope its the reflections. That' what it looks like to me. Look at the bumper. It looks the same way. It also looks recently wet sanded too, mine is no where near as reflective and smooth as that.

My son told me a joke today there were 3 guys in a car an American an Asian and a Jew (I mean no disrepect for anyone ok)
So they get stopped for speeding the cop says if between the three of you measure all your peakers and it 24" total I'll let you off ! So the American checks I got 12" , then the Asian I got 11" then the Jew dude checks I got 2" . The American says you guys lucky I had 12", the Asian said You guys lucky I had 11" then the Jew guy say's you both are lucky I had a boner.
That's kinda how he told it. 13 year old they'll rot our minds !

Married guys too. We can get 'em in our sights, but we best not bag 'em and tag 'em.

They're 15x10s. If I can't fit a 33x12.50 tire, then I'll back down to 15x8 and get 33x10/11.50s

I would go with these

Make sure he has access to condoms, knows how to use them, that it only takes once to become a daddy and use one even if the girl says shes on the pill.

Now I'm worried the cowl hood will interfere with the hood pins. I wouldn't mind losing the hood pins honestly, but they are functional. I had a lot of hood flutter before I installed them.
Yeah, you may be right. The 20's should looks ok as long as you don't use rubber band tires.

Who cares about the pins, that hood is sick. If I were to go with a cowl hood that would be the one without question. Does Cervini make hidden pins for their hoods?

I think if you look at the first pic of the hood from outside the car looking at the cowl you can see slight slits in those openings. I bet they are vented, isn't that the point of a cowl hood in the first place?

Ok so I'm a lil pissed that after all of that with my big "Gary's last mods for 7" reply post that you decided very thing before I got to give my opinion.

But I forgive you cuz you are doing what I would do if I was you.

Just one last thing though....keep the side stripes, they are very subtle and a think they are a nice way to let people know it is a little more than just a GT.
