Yep. I'll take a pic of it at christmas just for you. My grandma tried to hook a DVD player up to it one time. Not possible. lol

You could watch the Vikings on Fox in HD on Sunday.

Maybe if it was in HD you might watch local channels.

Once you watch HD, you can never go back.

I want to see a pic of this TV immediately. There is no TV that won't accept a DVD player.

What are you people doing over there?

We never got one either unless we were sick. Then we got the 13" and a VCR!

I'm pretty sure this is it. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_05246RV...0U.html?tp=161

What, you want me to break into my grandparents house to take a pic of their TV? I don't think they'd quite understand.

If I remember right, there weren't any inputs or outputs on the TV anywhere. Or maybe if there was, it's nothing I've ever seen before....

I had a 14" TV in my room from age 8 till I was 18 and I turned out fine. Well reasonably fine.

They have satellite and with the parental controls I can regulate everything on the TV. I went through both TV's and blocked channels completely, set rating guidelines on all shows, and also set time limits so after a certain hour it shuts off and there's nothing they can do short of my 4 digit pin to turn the satellite back on again.

They are required to do their homework when they get home before any TV. It's worked out fine so far. Besides she's to busy texting to watch too much TV.

Thats how I got my folks to buy a new set when VCR's came out in the 80's. no way to connect, but I tried through the antenna input and channel 3, too snowy.

then my wife bought me a CD player. goodbye 8-track and cassettes

Wow, I have seen and been part of a lot of innovation in my lifetime and 50 years no less

That's the exact TV in my bedroom right now. Exactly.

It's a good TV. The best LCD I have in the house.

Why would you not hook up an antenna to it and at least be able to watch something in HD for free? That just doesn't make any sense man.

Yours is a 2007, ours is a 2008. I searched for your post to find the link. Antenna costs money. It's an odd battle with my dad if you know what I mean.

I only wish they realized it too.

I'll tell you what though. Taking away TV is a pretty good punishment when they've done something wrong. I go up there and yank the flat screen out of the room until they're not grounded anymore.

I also failed to mention that the oldest has my xbox 360 that I bought and never used, and the other ones have a Wii in their room.

Jeez. Maybe I'm spoiling them.

Regan's never made a B in her life and she's in NJHS and takes all honors and GT classes. She carries like a 98 average without weighting it for GT.

Zoe is in 5th but she gets all A's now too after we found out she needed glasses.

Lauren, well, she gets A-B honor roll and is good at math, and loves to read

Paige, is in first, she is extremely good in math and she is probably the most clever of all of them. I'm amazed at her intuitiveness. She really understands things and reasons problems really well.

Bryce, is 2, we don't know yet, but she's progressing well just like all the others did.

So. Yes. They are 99% good all the time. Regan helps us with the younger ones, Zoe is a cleaning machine and very thoughtful, Lauren is Lauren. She has her moods. She goes from being sweet as can be, to being a real piece of work for an 8 year old.

She's in 8th grade.

I like it when they come to me for help. It's fun. I was always the math whiz so it's fun to try to teach them how to do something that might be a little better than their teacher is teaching them.
