The problem you are going to have is that those speakers are 8ohm speakers. That was typical home speaker setup. You'll need to wire the back ones with your door speakers and you should get about a 6ohm load. But that means you amp or the amp in your head unit won't be putting out the same power it was. It'll be reduced. If you run the 8ohm speakers by themselves you'll only be getting about 1/2 the power you should. But for $8 its something.

That was the cheapest 3 channel surround kit you could buy at the time. Best Buy Christmas door buster special too I think.
Just the fact you even think I have door speakers is hilarious

My setup is my crappy HU, and these 3 speakers. Door speakers would be nice

Hey Gary, the GT is doing good...I actually had a weird occurrence happen while I was filling it up at the gas station a month or so ago. I had a guy approach me, asking me if i wanted to sell it...he put up a decent offer, but I turned him down because of the time, money and energy I have invested in it. I told him he would have to make me an offer of a couple thousand more than the number he offered.

Brought it home September 25, 11 days after my 17th bday

Got 143k on it as of today, it's a 300 I6/Automatic. XLT Lariat - Top of the line

Cost me 200 bucks, and ran good at purchase. The next day I changed the oil, drained the water, ran a flush and got coolant in it, replaced the hoses and the thermostat, new PCV valve, fuel filter, and crankcase filter. Registering it was a pain in the ***, cost $225, woulda been $425 without an old plate to transfer.

My favorite part: Custom true dual ~2.5 inch exhaust, no cats, has mufflers.

Future plans: needs (bigger?) tires, fix the gas gauge, fix the tach, full tune up, trans flush, seafoam the engine, not just the fuel system like last time, and either lift the front or lower the back to even the stance

Wow, sorry for the novel!

Awesome! my buddy actually had the same truck, only it was a '96, but it had the same drivetrain and it ran pretty good...is it four or two wheel drive?

2 wheel. 4x4 would be nice, but I'd never use it, so it doesn't bother me

You're better off anyway, since you get better mileage with two-wheel drive; not to mention, no impending front end to be rebuilt. One of my fathers work trucks ('97 F-350 XLT, 5.8L) just hit 100k, and he paid a little over a grand for a front-end job

I like not having to spend money I don't have to

Here's a quick vid I shot of the exhaust. It's better in person, but you'll get the idea
