I'd have answered your question about the engine oil, but to be honest you're the auto tech guy and you know far more about it than I do.

Bad news of the day is that my 57" DLP projection HDTV took another crap out on me. Now it won't turn on at all. I'll have to open her up and see what I can see. I think it might have shorted out. When I replaced the stupid DLP bulb for the third time in 3 years(I'll never buy another DLP again) the insulation on the wires was burned off. That can't be good. This sucks. I wanted to get the transmission for the vert this Christmas, now I'll probably be getting a new TV.
That sucks. on the parts though!

Later Eduardo. Hope you have a better day tomorrow!

Remember on MCTC II you used to get emails or something from a chic that admired your stang or something. Now Mike gets them. I guess she's in to older dudes now.

5 lug conversion!

Prioritize here Gary. Make the room with the projector the main TV room and get yourself a tranny for christmas

I didn't know how to answer that either. Shoot, when I was young, I saw my Dad pour diesel fuel into the crankcase once and let the engine RUN for 10 minutes then flush it with more for a repeat, then put in oil.

Sorry about the DLP. I have one as well. Just changed the bulb for the first time in June. I have a 5 year warranty including the bulbs so I figure 1 or more changes(set is 2 years 1/2 now) warranty cost 169 for 5 and bulb alone is that much....now it looks brand new again

Yeah it sucks. I never buy the warranty, but I've put $400 in bulbs into this thing. I'm ready to call it quits and just get another LCD.

This sucks hardcore. The TV is in the family room and it gets watched all the time. I could possibly take the 47" one out of the living room, and then replace it with the 37" I just got for my garage.

I think that's what I'll do. TV prices usually drop even more after Christmas. Especially if its a bad year.

You got a 46" in the living room? Thats what's in my Family room. My 57" is in the basement where I force the Teens to hang out when they all come over. Or when I want to be alone.

I'm so deprived

Well, I'm going to bed. gonna head back to work tomorrow, so I have to look refreshed after being in bed for 3 days. Later y'all!

Just make sure you don't run water through there and start it up.

There was a 32" 720p for $300 I think at target this week. They're definitely getting cheaper.

That's like living in the stone age without fire.

Does your 42" have a built in HDTV tuner. Because I'm sure you could at least pick up over the air HD broadcast signals from Minneapolis with an antenna. It would be extremely easy to set up. Just some $20 rabbit ears from Walmart, Target, or Best Buy connected to the back of the TV and you're in business.

You mean they have one of those 27 inch consoles? looks like a piece of furniture right? That WAS my big screen of my youth. we could lay on the floor about 3 feet in front of it. you could see the black lines between the color ones.. 525 lines . it was all black and white for me till 1974. 5 channels and rabbit ears, I was the remote control too ahh the simpler times.

It's probably HD ready, he didn't want to spend the extra 150 bucks for the tuner built in That sounds like my Dad
