Installed DSS carbon fiber driveshaft. I'm very happy. No vibrations over 100 mph, lightened the car by 20lbs, driveline seems more dynamic and the butt dyno registers nice improvement. It's very quiet but I still have significant lash in the diff and the output shaft of the transmission. Funny, my E36 M3 has less lash in the diff and trans with over 200k miles. Maybe I can get the dealer to take a look...

Cleaned her up and then covered in the garage! Won't be able to drive her for a week going hunting. Miss Scarlet isn't the hunting type at least off roads that is!!! Heh

I don't know what my times were. Until I'm serious and get track tires, better springs, etc my time doesn't really matter to me. Next year I'll do those things and report back!

I tired to tousle with an Xtera and lost the battle, Pirelli's and a slight sheen of ice do not mix well at all. Thankfully I should be getting a Tiger racing hood out of the deal, and I was reassured to hear that mine will be the 4th Boss to be worked on in the past few days.

I made sure not to take any, though I am sure I could get them from GEICO. Luckily it wasn't that much damage and luckily no one was hurt.

Not in my Boss today during the light snow, but I did manage to do a 180 going uphill in my Grand Marquis going 15 mph... Luckily nobody coming the other way in my neighborhood. Managed to not even put a tire off the road, couldn't repeat that little manuever if I tried. However it was a good lesson for my 13yo (was in the car with me and his younger brother) who thinks he's gonna be driving it in 3yrs when he gets his license. Methinks a $500 beater will be a better bet...

I did order my Boss car cover, back on topic.

Hopefully for all of us the winter won't be dangerous.

We got some light rain in SoCal, does that count as winter?

We'd better call FEMA.

Up here in the Bay Area we get a "Severe Weather Alert" if it's going to rain at all or if the temps are going to drop into the high 40's.

Tuesday I went on a 50 mile road trip with the guy near by who also has a '12 RR Boss.

Today, I pushed her to the front of the garage so I could get the snow blower out.
Traded out one toy for another. But the Boss is a lot more fun to drive.

These cars come with SUMMER tires. Any temps below 45 are dangerous, let alone ice or snow. Guys with STI's were know to try and drive on conditions like that with factory RE070 summer tires and even with AWD they would not be driveable. If you insist on the Boss as a DD get another set of wheels and 18" snow tires so you don't kill yourself or someone else

Wow, I think Temecula, CA is becoming a cool Mustang haven. Took the Boss out today to lunch (Teriyaki Ninja) with the waif, and pulling out of my neighborhood, saw an orange car flash its lights at me. Looked over and saw an orange and black '12 Boss. I really like that color combo, and actually looked at that exact color last year. No more than 10 minutes later, while at a stop light, heard, then saw, a Black Mustang take a corner and "stretch its legs" on a straight away. Caught up to it a couple of minutes later (hate stop lights) and noticed the double duel exhaust. That, combined with the stripes, figured it must be a new Shelby 500. It was pretty cool, the wife liked it too.

Yep, Lower Dakota Territory is another way to say it.
And I'm an SDSU graduate. Not the San Diego one either.
The only Diego I've been to is Diego Garcia. But that's not near CA or SD.

Put the Boss into the storage bay of the garage for a long winter nap.
