The stock Pirelli's worked better than I expected in the rain but I'm not so sure about snow. Good luck!

Based on the recommendations of others, I had Safelight come out and do their thing. Made the appointment online, they came to my office on the same day, and were done in 30 minutes. Should probably be closer to $75 than $150, but it was excellent service and way cheaper than a new windshield. I'm very pleased. The spot isn't invisible, but it's much better and the cracks shouldn't spread further.

I have no affiliation with Safelight.

I have three chips that size that I've already repaired (behind the mirror, below the mirror and top corner pass side) and the rest of it looks like it's been sandblasted Windshields are only $250, that's less than the cost of one track tire

Now your talking. Weather it's a dailey driver to weekend track or 1/4 mile at a time. As log as you are one with your Boss enjoying it for what you purchased it for. One thing that I know for sure is that the Boss was born to run. Be safe 5 DOT 0. And if ever you see that Pinto 302, please post the pictures>>>>>Enjoy

Haha Boss Man you have to realize it only rains probably 60 days a year in Rick's neck of the woods. I too did not want to drive it in the rain, but got caught in a very rare June rainstorm in CA. There are part number tags on the suspension components that I'd prefer to stay in place as well as rust prevention. My 64 Falcon 289+Toploader convertible has about 400,000 miles on it and honestly I could do without the rust. FWIW I have 6500 good hard miles on my RR Boss since June 13th, but I will keep an eye out for Pintoization and keep you informed of any gas tank movement, etc.

This weekend I'm moving the final crap out of my garage to stuff both the Boss and "The Pelican" in there. Sold my Bridgeport to make it all fit.

Had no idea that it only rains about 60 days a year. I'm on the east coast in NJ and it seems like we only get 60 nice days a year. We have had so much rain this year that we have broke all kinds of records. Same with Snow last winter. I'm hoping this winter will kind to us. To be honest>>> I completly understand everyone feelings about driving the Boss in bad weather. The Boss is not only a spcial / limited car but it's an extenision of who the owner is. Certain cars atrack certain types of people. I wonder what is the common factor that all Boss owners have.

It has a fan that runs constantly, keeping airflow moving, the car comes out as clean and nice as you put it in. No surface rust on rotors or underneath. And the best part is your engine doesn't get all oxidized.

Shawn, is that needed for garage storage? If it's outside how do you keep it from collapsing in northern weather climes?
Thanks

Its for indoor storage, they do sell a outside one but I don't believe it would handle heavy snow.

well that is one good thing about Texas, we rarely get snow and can drive year round in cool cars. You just have to survive the 105 temps with 120 heat index in the summer. we are just now into the 80-90 weather.
