Just got a call from my dealer. They have successfully placed my order for TracKey and were told it could take "up to a week" to arive. 
Stopped by the dyno shop and with winter approaching, their schedule is pretty flexible. Should have comparative dyno charts and datalogs by the end of next week

How you drive a car in a race is different from how you drive it in drivers-ed or a track day however you want to call it. This is why race announcers can often be heard making the statement " qualifying is not racing". Racing someone else is a whole lot different than racing the clock. Very different ultimate goal in each.

I think everyone needs to take a deep breath and step away from this for a day or two. Lot's of emotions bubbling over.
I'm not worried about TK in the least. I'm very confident my dealership will help me resolve any problem I may have (not that I really expect any). I'm also confident that TK is not going to be an issue and cause any problems.
I'm going to call my dealership tomorrow and get TK ordered and installed asap.

The TracKey management of the engine can and will affect the entire drive train when exercised to its fullest on the track. Everything from excessive drag in the Torsen (increased compression) to crankshaft vibrations caused by the nannies and running hard over apexes.
It will be difficult to prove the TracKey use didn't cause a failure, especially on the track.
No key for me.

The Dealer Service Department only makes money when they repair your car.
Be nice to your dealer. They WILL go to bat for you if you have a legitimate claim.
If you do not, they will not complete a repair if they do not think that the manufacturer will reimburse them for fixing your car.

No Key for me ... I intend to install headers, free flow exhaust and cold air intake.
Seems track key is not compatible with it. Too bad, I was really looking to benefit from the other changes to calibrations of, ABS, traction control, steering feel, launch control etc. Too bad trackey is not for racers.

Racing is usually defined as a competition between one or more cars and there are lap times and lap speeds recorded. We have an insurance agent that regularly goes to HPDEs with us and he says it is very important that you learn the difference between tracking a car and racing a car. Should you ever have a mishap at the track..what you say is critical.
Some insurance companies actually look at HPDEs as driver improvement courses if they meet certain criteria such as percentage of classroom instruction to driving time, as well as certified instructors both in the classroom and in the vehicle when it is being driven. No times are kept, passing is strictly controlled, etc.
When all this started with the Boss, I re-read the warranty on my Shelby and it specifically uses the term "racing."

HPDEs are generally not considered as racing by insurance companies, meaning it shouldnt void your warranty. Compared to some other car companies such as BMW, which state that simply driving your vehicle on a track will void the warranty.
