Those who have ordered - what are you paying?

what made me mad was I took this contract to another dealer who beat by 1000.00 and the first dealer won't refund my 1000.00. It was 50314.00 with tax out the door. If you want it pm me for the name. I'm stuck in my contract. if I could i'd buy both and sell one when it comes in and get that 1000.00 back. still mad!

Not sure how to answer about the LS that is on order - my dealer tells me, I never charge over MSRP. So, could it be under MSRP? Yup. Could it be right at MSRP? yup. Over MSRP ? nope.
We won't know for sure until the checkbook comes out and we see where the market is at that point in time.

Update - because the car has been serialized for delivery relatively soon, the dealer is now confirming MSRP for the LS.

$68,500!
I laughed and hung up. We should start a thread with high ADM offers.

Oh, the pain.
Good memory. That was frustrating. Everyone else was being told their allocation quarter and I was in the dark.

IMO that's a big problem. They should be able to email their Ford rep and get the allocation quarter. If they don't have an allocation quarter they may not have an allocation at all. Insist they contact their rep immediately.

5 DOT 0, I never asked this before, but is there a document that a dealer can show customers that would verify allocations and/or build quarters? If the doc has a name, maybe customers could ask for the doc by name thus demonstrating to the dealer that the customer knows enough of the process not to have the wool pulled over their eyes.

I have read other buyers and car dealers posts (Ford websites) that they have been notified, if they were allocated a BOSS 302 and or a Laguna Seca or not.
They're also posting:
When the Dealer is informed that it's getting an allocation for a Boss, and or LS, the Dealer is also informed when the car is going to be produced by quarter (1st,2nd,3rd,4th) before the order banks open,,,Which BOSS did you get allocated, BOSS 302 and or LS, also, what production quarter were you awarded?
Thank-U

This is what we got from our Rep.

Hi XXXXX
You've earned a Boss for 1st quarter! Would you email me the order number and body type? It will NOT be a Laguna Seca package.

Sounds like it is a very informal communication between the dealer and the zone when it comes to learning about allocations and build quarters. It makes it frustrating for the customer, but I'm sure there's a good reason.

The way I saw it when I was able to glance at my dealer's computer screen was a simple document from his zone rep. I believe the sheet I saw was only for the lottery winners in his zone. It was just a sheet with a bunch of squares
dealers Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
A------------|||
B----------------|||
C----- |||
D--------------------------
The boxes filled in telling the dealers which ones got what allocations from the lottery. So in this awesomely formatted example of what I saw, dealers A, B and C each got one in different quarters and poor dealer D didn't get an allocation.
I'm sure based on how each rep chooses to communicate this information is different for each zone as well
