Those who have ordered - what are you paying?

Let's see where the market is at for these cars. ONLY people who have pricing locked in should vote. How much are paying for your car? I've seen a number of people post that they've ordered, but not what they are paying. The poll will allow those of you who don't want to be explicit to answer anonymously.

Not sure how to answer about the LS that is on order - my dealer tells me, I never charge over MSRP. So, could it be under MSRP? Yup. Could it be right at MSRP? yup. Over MSRP ? nope.

We won't know for sure until the checkbook comes out and we see where the market is at that point in time.

This is a good answer. Come back and post again when you know for sure.

I'm not gonna vote because I didn't order, but I was told I could order a 2012 BOSS for MSRP from my dealer and I declined. They have 2 allocated and both are not spoken for. They asked me for advice on how to order them based on the knowledge I know from here. If he doesn't sell them he may lose them to his Houston main branch where presumably they will get over MSRP. I have no idea.

I voted LS at MSRP because my dealer has quoted it to me in writing but I haven't actually gone out to do the paperwork yet. I'm supposed to go today if I can manage to sneak out of work early.

Dealers around here are all opening with pricing of $5K above MSRP. I got one sounding like he'll deal at MSRP, but he doesn't even know if he has allocation, and the more we talk, the more it sounds like he's going to angle for a premium.

This is really frustrating. I'm already talking to one other dealer whom I've offered $1K over MSRP if they throw in a few "extras" at no additional charge.

If I can find a local dealer that will deal at MSRP this week, they'll get my deposit and my order.

Do you think it will throw in a few extras or tell the next caller there is an offer over MSRP on the table already?

Most dealers always act in their own best interest, if they don't like that offer, I'll continue calling other dealers.

I don't want to pay over MSRP but if they would throw in these extras at no cost (which I was planning to buy anyways), the markup gets to be under $500.00--which I could live with just to secure an order and be done with it.

Interesting quote from another forum:

I know of at least 4 people who have signed deals for LS's at MSRP. So anyone paying more is just not working hard enough.

The guy has it right specially with the comparisson to the GT500 and the KR. He could have completed the trifecta of his points by asking what are they worth now.

I got confirmation today via email, so in writing, that my dealer has agreed to sell at MSRP with tax and so forth. She made it clear in the email that other dealers were up charging anywhere from 3 to 5 G's. I was a little nervous but I know the fact that I was staying in contact with them since the car was announced helped out a little bit and placing a deposit, lol.

Anyways, just wanted to share - I voted at MSRP on my White/Black Recaro and Torsen equipped 2012 Boss 302. Told ya i was stoked.

Found a local dealer willing to give me a Q4'11 allocation order at MSRP...going in tomorrow to place the order and put down a deposit!

Will officially vote in the poll when I have a confirmed order...
