Very funny 5.0, yes the waiting for the car to be built & shipped sux, but tolerable. It's the lack of information that blows. It's my dealers "I got the sale already so the car will come when it comes" attitude really blows.

If that were the case I obviously wouldn't argue, but this isn't a mass produced car either.
It took 4 months from the day I ordered & a good 10 calls to my dealer & FCS, just to find out the car was a second Q allocation. It took me canceling my order for my dealer to get off his lazy azz and do simething. At this point I wish I had. I have found a couple cars at MSRP on dealer lots. I just didn't want to be an Ahole, even though he was lazy

Ford just called again. My car is back on hold. No reason given, it's just on hold. This car rolled off the line 60 days ago and I guess they still feel its build quality is so poor it can't be shipped. My BOSS is a BUST.

Mine was built May 14 and has now been shipped as far as you can go in the continental US and is awaiting final delivery to the dealer near San Diego. 3.5 weeks from build to delivery.

I agree with you. Don't mind waiting as long as I can get accurate, timely information. They nailed the build date but what really blows is getting and ETA and then having a new ETA assigned at the last minute with with either no explanation or one so cryptic or generic as to be useless. Come on Ford! Special edition or not, you should be able to do better than that.
