Boss has been shipped!
#281
Good news for the early builds, Mark, Greg and others I found out today mine has shipped. They gave me a railcar number ETTX950098. I have not tracked it but just knowing it is on the way is good enough. Hopefully they others are on the way also.

No word here. I'm thinking I'm just going to sit here and cry for a while. On the other hand, after my phone call with FCS yesterday, I have high hopes that when they call me back it will have some good news. At this point, after jerking me around for three weeks, they ought to load it on a truck and drive it straight to the dealership.

It's in the 50s here today.......busted out the GT500......feels a little different than the F-150 I've been driving since November......got my sea legs again.......makes waiting for the Boss a little easier.

Amen brother.
Anyone got a wood chipper around that I can feed my head into? It would be a great deal less painful than waiting around for Ford to remember that my Boss is still at the plant, and ship it.
I swear, my experience could be made into an Alfred Hitchcock movie.

phytrpilot, Gary and Scott:
Ford FCS called me back about 30 minutes ago (this time it was a manager). She said that it was ridiculous that the car was still sitting. Told her that in light of this headache the only right thing to do was to load it on a truck this week and ship it to Charleston (as the window sticker stipulates). She said that this has already been passed on to her boss, who will be calling me today or tomorrow. That individual apparently CAN make that happen. My response was that they had better, or this car will go to dealer stock. Heck, in another week they WILL be sitting at dealers in my area!
More to follow when I get it. Still looking for a wood chipper though.
