[QUOTE=theACE;6029800]I been doing some work in Photoshop for a client real quick, but as soon as I finish this graphic up I will start looking into these cars for you guys. I hope my online tracking keys still work for CSX, it's been a few months since I played around with the ODIS servers.[/QUOTE

Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of work schedule do the railroads run? My rail car arrived in Battle Creek at 9:20 a.m. yesterday but hasn't moved again. Will it be at least Monday before it moves again?

Guys my ODIS account locked me out for some reason, I guess because I haven't used it in a few months. I will try steelroads and see if my account is still valid over there.

Atrain, our cars on in route to Cumberland, MD. It left the train station at 3am. It might be getting off there, CSX has an autoyard there. Or it could move on further east who knows.

Thanks for the update - it's great that our cars are making progress! How did you find out that info?

BNSF is 24/7.

On the BNSF, the only train on schedule, is an Officer Special, carrying people like Warren Buffet, Matt Rose etc.

Autoracks do not normally run on our priority "Z" TRAINS which have a promised delivery window.

Trains are made up with multiple cars destined for many locations, when they reach switching locations they can sit for hours or days to get switched to the right grouping for other trains to continue to the next or final location.

It's the same for UPS or FEDEX, package is picked up then sorted moved to a hub then onto another hub and another till it reaches it's final destination.

Bottom line is Railroads TRY to get all freight moved in a timely fashion, but virtually all trains are behind schedule.

This train info is fascinating. Is there something significant about the Battle Creek yard?

Battle Creek yard is probably just a staging/interchange point yard for CN.

That's great. I just didn't want you getting all upity because your train moved first.

Once this glacier finally retreats the rest of the way by middle of this week, I'm getting the GT500 out to take my mind off the Boss.

Big deal, you moved 100 miles SOUTH. Turn off the computer and go outside.
