I don't blame you. Ford really got this car right, especially with the 285s out back

Yeah kinda makes you think twice about having the street Boss as a daily driver. Still say it's worth it though!

I took a look at the camaro boards. First, they are pretty silent about the Boss, which is uncharacteristic about that crowd. Second, you're right. They have NOTHING to compete with this thing if the Z/28 turns out to be a competitor to the GT500. And they would probably agree with you that the Z/28 should be a Boss competitor, but the reality is the zeta platform is just too heavy to make a high performance track-oriented version. Their loss.

Good job Ford! And I say give Camaro5 a few days, epsecially in some inept scribe's hands. Then you'll hear the grumbling start.

I'm hoping that you can get Sync in the final production trim on the street version. I'm really not sure how that's adding much of any weight to the car.

I just need to see a Yellow Blaze with black stripes and I will be sold. I just wish the rear seat delete was an option.

According to Ford's tech spec sheet.

The Boss curb weight is 26lbs more than a GT
Just an FYI.

You mean as in you want the rear seat in an LS or you don't want it in the regular one?

If this comes in at under $40K MSRP, I'm back in a Mustang!

actually looks pretty cool in silver, yes it's a little on the loud side but it is the track version...like others I immediately thought GT3RS. It would be cool if ford offered flat black accents on the silver and then that light gold ala Porsche with the black.

So are the adjustable struts/shocks on the Boss 302 Tokicos or Konis?

Yeah, and I'm not exactly a pillar of patience. I mean, I bought a '10 after all!

BTW, I don't think I ever said congrats on your car. I missed it when you got it because I was mostly hanging out over at MF. But Boomer and his endless teasing with the Boss brought me back here. So congrats!

I'm usually all for stripping all the options out for the performance models but after experiencing Sync in our flex I have to agree and doubt it would add much if any weight. At least give me the bluetooth for my cell phone, lol.
