That's because GT500 owners have a "package" that is significant enough before they buy the car. Boss owners need something to supplement theirs.

I just don't agree with advertising promises and then not come through.

That was funny. Option C Blame option B on Ford. They promissed and then revoked. Kinda like a woman telling you to come to bed and then say "go to sleep, I have a head ache" Either way, the party died.

Maybe I should have got a 500 with a blower. It would have felt better. Nope, I changed my mind, getting blown all the time becomes rather boring. LOL

No problem, some folks ran into issues with the address Ford had. Mine went to the shipper in FL because that is the address the dealer used.

 

 

What is the Boss pkg you guys are talking about? I ordered a Boss and no one mentioned this to me.

 

I think it was just a first year thing, I might be wrong, but extremely rare.

 

You get a Boss keyring with your build # on it, DVD about the reincanation oh the Boss, some posters pf the car and one of Parnelli Jones. Most salesmen are clueless and dont know about it. Ford will send it to you, but it can take a while

After following this thread, that's the understatement of the year.

 

Ok guys one more question! Is there a break in period for the Boss motor? My 89 5.0 had a 3K break in period.
