-How long did you wait to receive your Boss. Times that by 2, divide by .75 and subtract 3. This will give the ETA on the owners package.

OK, looks like they are trying hard to make everybody happy. My package arrived yesterday (Friday) at my friend's place in Miami, FL. He had been handling all the paperwork on my behalf. Too bad, I will not be able to make use of Track Attack but instead, I have the Nurburgring only 90 min away from my front door ;-)

Wouldn't hold your breath PT. Talked to one of our clients, a top litigation firm who say we have legal recourse with Ford Canada as the are imposing additional depreciation on Canadians by not including the owners kit which could negatively impact future value. Something about the fair trade agreement and a bunch of other stuff I wasn't paying attention too. Meeting on this issue in the coming weeks. Don't want to be litigations here but what Ford Canada is doing after the fact is plainly wrong.

I don't have a dog in this fight (don't own a Boss, US or Canadian), but how much you wanna bet this short sighted, penny-wise/pound-foolish move ends up costing Ford of Canada more money at the end of the day had they just followed suit with the rest of Ford?

I think it is a moot point because the litigation fees will be more then whatever the (expected) loss of "negatively impacted future value" might be.

Owners's Kit Arrived....damaged like many
Owners's Kit arrived yesterday evening via UPS. Exterior box was slightly damaged at opposite corners; interior box was more heavily damaged.
The paper weight of the Owners Kit could have been heavier, which might have prevented some of the damage at the corners; but the combination of this and the fact that the Boss 302 book is loosely fitted into the area of the Owners Box contributes to the damage when the package is tossed, and the weight of the book impacts the sides of the compartment. The corner of the book was crumbled as well.
Hey, it's the thought that counts. Thanks Ford for a great car....#1723 of 2012 Bosses, and # 619 of those in Competition Orange.
