I bought my LS in Aug. of 2011. Without any notice a package from Fedex arrives in Nov. of 2012. I had already purchased a copy of the DVD off of eBay and bought the book from amazon. The only real value to the Boss owners kit was the documentation about my LS, but since I sold the car in the spring of 2012 it really doesn't matter.

Very poor treatment of Canadian customers, no Track Attack for us and an owners kit that takes 15 months to get to you.

 

I'm in Canada and it's a whole different animal up here. Ford of Canada shortchanged all the Boss owners, they opted out of the Track Attack and Canadian buyers were not allowed to go to it. It's got nothing to do with the dealers up here.

 

Canadians who moved fast snuck in a Track Attack.

 

Is this something the dealer initiates? I have a 2013 LS and haven't received this or the splitter/scoop/brake kit. My dealer doesn't seem to have a clue.

 

I thought the splitter and stuff was delivered with the car?

 

Not with mine. I called them and after some run around they told me 3-4 months delivery!!! This for a part that was supposed to be delivered with the car.

 

This is BS. It should ship from the factory with a big box with all this stuff. Contact Ford Racing with your VIN and see if they can help. Local dealers seem to be totally clueless. I have heard similar story from another LS owner and the box was eventually found at the dealership and delivered to the owner.

 

Yea, I'm starting to get pissed I'm new to the Ford scene. Why would Ford Racing care about this issue and what number would be best to call?

I've have been trying to solve this for several days with the dealer and they are MIA. I am beginning to wonder if they sold the parts to another customer or someone took them home for they're own Mustang. I PMed Deysha yesterday so maybe she'll help...

 

Love Ford cars. Love the Ford Engineers, but **** if I haven't found Ford Dealers by and large, to be the most frustrating group of people I've ever dealt with. There are exceptions thankfully!

 

Now that the local dealers have all gone under, and "our" dealership got bought out by some big wig chain dealer, I think the only way I'll buy a new Ford, will be through Brian (5ohbrian) or Jeff, then drive it home. Not worth the headache dealing with the huge chain dealers that don't give a F about customer service or fair pricing.

 

Deysha, I have had my Boss since March 2012 and no owner's package yet. Can you assist in getting one sent to me?

 

March 2011 for me Deysha, can you check into mine. 0254 delivered to Summit Ford. The delivered date may be May as I was travelling and unable to pick the car up till then.

 

Picked up my car from the dealer the first week of December and received my owner's kit today.

I am in a different location than where the car was titled and licensed and I learned from an employee of the dealer who is a Boss owner that the kits are shipped to the registration address and require a signature. Fortunately the dealer was able to give me a name and number to call. I wasn't real confident that it would arrive, but it did! I've watched the DVD and will read the book in the next couple of days. Oh, and the packet is color coordinated to my SBY Boss. ;-)

 

Your color being coordinated is just by accident they are all yellow I believe for the '13's. Here's a pic of mine!

Yeah it's pretty cool, got mine 3 weeks after i purchased my boss.

 

The box with my LS stuff actually showed up at my dealer a few days BEFORE my car arrived.

 

Wow, that's even cooler that they color coordinated ALL of them to my car. I wonder how they knew in advance what color car I would order?
