Boss 302 Owners Package.
Just thought I would let everyone know that my Boss 302 Owners Package just came in UPS today.
There are a couple of pretty cool things in it.
There is a Boss 302 certificate that reminds me of the SVT Cobra certificates but in a little different format. It states the VIN, production date (not the same that was given to me though) and said "This vehicle is #039 of the 2012 production run and number 33 manufactured in Black"
There is also a VIN specific key chain, the Boss 302 "Ford Remakes a Legend" DVD, the Boss 302 book by Donald Farr, and a few pamplets concerning Boss t-shirts and track attack.
There are also a few posters of a black LS and a Competition Orange Boss.
Pretty cool stuff.

I wonder how they'll decide the order of who gets the package first, second ...
I also wonder if the "039" will match the engine data plate, or be the actual # the car was of all Bosses. Another number to keep track of in the registry.

All Boss owners are to get the Boss Owners Kit. The kits were originally to be mailed out starting in July.....see #3 below.

Ford Division has begun to deliver Boss 302's and Boss 302 Laguna Seca Mustangs.* Ford Division is committed to ensuring that dealers and customers have all the information to complete the purchase of their Boss Mustang. This is also to make dealers aware of the separate shipment of Ford Racing Performance Parts specific to the Boss 302 Laguna Seca.
WHAT THE BOSS 302 CUSTOMER RECEIVES:
Purchasers of the Boss 302 Mustang have an option to upgrade their vehicle’s performance by purchasing "TracKey" for $302 plus dealer labor after they take delivery of their car (post title transfer to consumer), a chance to attend the Ford Racing "Track Attack" Boss Driving School at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele Utah, and receive a Boss Owners Kit.*
Basic information on these programs is detailed below.* Attached below, you will also find a Hero Card explaining "TracKey" and "Track Attack" programs which include website addresses for more information on these programs.
1.*TracKey- (After transfer of title to the consumer) Consumer has the opportunity to have "TracKey" Powertrain Control Module software installed at your dealership.* This software is only available to Boss Owners after the consumer purchases their vehicle.* This software should be available for installation late summer of this year.* Log on to www.trackey.ford.com for further information.* You can also call the Ford Racing Performance Group Hotline at 1-(800) 367-3788.

Boss 302 Number 769 -- Purchased June 16
No owner's package yet. How do we ensure we receive this great package. I've already participated in the Track Attack -- can't get enough of the Boss experience. Presume the dealers do their job in getting owners info to Ford.
