Cool work. I'm hoping if the design looks something like this it will be the base model.

The problem with the blue one is that the grill is too high. The two of these are very similar except for that & the headlights. Look how the headlights on the orange car are slightly narrower and the top of them slants right into the top of the grill. On the blue car, the headlights are slightly larger and the top of the grill is above the top slant of the headlights.

This gives the orange car a lower sloping hood and a more aggressive front end.

The mule under camo looks like the current model based on the rear roofline. It is definitely not a fastback. It may even be a vert.

How can you say for certain that it's definitely not a fastback ! If the car's roofline were based off the current model.. Then why is there such heavy camo and padding on the rear roofline to begin with.. It's nearly impossible to know what's actually underneath the camo at this point.

I'm a fan of the Kyle Evans Mustang that we keep seeing posted but I've never seen these others until now. I'm absolutely in love with the drawing of the rear

The drawing you posted looks very similar with the Giugiaro Mustang concept that debuted at the L.A Auto Show back in 2006

I really like that! Well at least the overall profile and rear anyway...nice hips and integrated spoiler. The front end needs some work though. If nothing else this rendering has the crisp lines I want to see as most of the others seem to be a little to soft and rounded.

Thumbs up

Yep, that's a superb looking rear end................and it does look similar (but better, IMO) than the Giugiaro concept's rear.

Also interesting to see the Ford Blue Oval on some of these renders. Wasnt the New Edge the last to have it on the body?

Yes Indeed Herbert ! The SN-95 (94-04) Mustangs were the last to feature the blue oval logo anywhere on the body, it was located exclusively on the trunk lid to be exact..

I really like the rear and although I also like the quarter hips, they could use some work as they're too edgy, too blocky and just looks really cartoonish especially from the side profile.. I would suggest make the hips a bit more curvy/rounded and I think you'll really have a winner IMHO.

I also agree the front end most definitely needs some work as well !

I totally agree Paul as it does look better.. However I see very little or no trunk at all, so is this render a hatchback model or does it still have an actual trunk

Take my money!

That grille actually a works well and can be aggressive if done correctly.
