So, some months ago I had the privilege of seeing some concept drawings and models in different phases of 50th anniversary Mustang stuff.
I decided to put my hand to the test and reproduce what I saw.
This is VERY close to what will be the finished product.
As much as the front does share similarities in many ways to the Fusion and Evos concepts, it reads very much like the current GT500 does from the front. The flow is very different and sporty/modern but the overall look feels more like a mustang than it does the others.
Please excuse my amateur art skills, but here it is:

Hi, first post but I have followed this specific thread since about the time it was new. Anyways, just found this and didn't know if it had been posted yet, looks an awful lot like that red car and driver render... but better! Definitely my favorite so far, drop a 2.3L ecoboost in it and ford has a customer ![Wink](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Yes I'm sure that's been posted at some point by our small task force of internet crawlers putting in work to scour the lengths of the intarwebs for any hint of the new Mustang.

I like it except for the grille, I think it should have something similar to the 2010-12 front, just put the fogs in the bumper, where they belong!

We will see what Ford puts out, what gas prices will be and what the economy will be like when it comes out.

An Ecoboost V6 would cost more than the Coyote V8 and the Mustang GT has always been about affordable speed, so I'm sure the V8 will still be around. It would be nice though if Ford offered a high output Ecoboost V6 as an option, though. Some people would pay an extra thousand bucks or so for the better fuel economy. For racing, the Ecoboost V6 might be superior. After it's all dressed up with turbochargers and intercoolers, etc., the V6 might not be much lighter than the V8. But it would be shorter, meaning that the weight would be closer to the firewall making the car less nose-heavy. This better weight balance would pay dividends on the racetrack, I suspect.
