Am I the only one that is tired of seeing these generic "global" mustangs. I have one word: "ICONIC"
ICONIC, is what the next mustang should be! Forget sharing design language. So here is my worst nightmare, if they screw this up.

+1 I don't care if it stays Retro but I want it to look unique. I think my favorite thing about the 2005-13 mustangs is the fact that nothing else in Ford's lineup looks like it.

If you're talking about the version I did, I'll take that as a compliment. However, I still pray it looks nothing like that!

I think it's because most of the 2015 photoshops start with the evos front end which has the logo and they don't remember to remove it

No you are not the only one but I don't think you will need to worry about a Fusion with a triple bar pony in the grill.

So of the things Jay Mays has said give me great hope that the new STANG will be great.

" So you said the next Mustang will not be retro"

Mays: " Did I say that? I never said that. I have heard it said that I said that."

From the front of the door to the back it looks nice. Very smooth but aggresdive at the same time. As for the front.... Nooooooo

That sure looks a lot like the Motor Trend image that's been floating around, minus the body pillar between the door and the Dorito window.

Lovin' that view. Definitely a great combo of ultra-modern that still looks like a 'stang. Doubt the corresponding rendering of the front can live up to that

I'm definitely not a fan of the new look if that is what it is going to be like. Definitely ordering a '14.

I can't help it - I'm old-school.

If the front looked good I could do this. I really like it.

Cool FORD doesn't want you to see this 2015 drawing.

So, some months ago I had the privilege of seeing some concept drawings and models in different phases of 50th anniversary Mustang stuff.

I decided to put my hand to the test and reproduce what I saw.

This is VERY close to what will be the finished product.

As much as the front does share similarities in many ways to the Fusion and Evos concepts, it reads very much like the current GT500 does from the front. The flow is very different and sporty/modern but the overall look feels more like a mustang than it does the others.

Please excuse my amateur art skills, but here it is:
