Clicked on the link for my window sticker and boom.... there it was! When I look at the numbers at the top that are above the word "Blend" it says, "120150506". I am not sure what the "120" means but I am assuming "150506" is my build date of 05/06/15. Am I right?

Since All this info is proprietary to the plant. Does anyone have the flat rock assembly plant's phone number? I would like to call them directly and see whats going on with my car and why customers who ordered their cars 2 weeks after mine, are driving theirs...where as mine is still "awaiting shipment".

Remember how my dealer said my car would be on a shipment of cars arriving the 29th? They came in last night, guess which car wasn't on that truck. So COTUS is right, my dealer has no idea what he's talking about.

 

The fact that nobody can tell us what the problem is, leads me to believe that my car had some problem with it and it is being fixed.

I am honestly debating not accepting the car, because I do not want a car that disappeared for a month with no explainable reason.

 

I'm thinking the same thing as you, Kay50. I ordered mine a month before you and in the same situation. Tried all the numbers on goggle for the Flat Rock plant and get no answer. The 7800 number says it's not a working number. The fact that I get more info from this thread than I get from my dealer only adds to the frustration. They didn't have any problem with taking my money, though.

 

2/6 Placed order with dealer
2/9 Order was placed with Ford
2/19 After Deysha's help I was able to get the order number and found the order was wrong.
2/20 Had order fixed.
3/12 VIN showed up
3/17 Estimated Delivery Date of 4/20
3/24 In Production. EDD still 4/20.
3/25 Window Sticker showed up. Deysha was dead on.
3/31 Production complete. Awaiting shipment.
4/02 EDD moved to 4/29 with 26 days left.
4/03 EDD gone. Still Awaiting shipment.
4/07 In Transit with EDD of 4/24.
4/17 Car arrived at rail yard. EDD moved to 4/21.
4/21 EDD gone. Car still at local rail yard.
4/28 Car still at the local rail yard.
4/29 Cotus showed the car as delivered. I think this is when it can be delivered to the dealer.
4/29 Picked my car up at 5:30pm and it is so awesome.
This Friday would have been a full 12 weeks of waiting. It was very hard and frustrating at times but it is sooooo nice.
I'll post pictures this weekend.

I'm asking my dealer what it would take to bring in another one I found at a dealer 800 miles away with the same options plus recaro seats. If they can do it for a good price, I may go this direction.

I cant believe that it has been sitting there for almost 2 weeks waiting to be picked up. And I am like everyone else I get more info from this thread than the dealer. I dont understand the hold up and why 2 weeks later this car is still sitting there. Thank you for the info Deysha.
