Was all excited, ordered 11/13, was built 12/2 and was awaiting shipping with an EDD of 1/18/15.

All of the sudden yesterday COTUS changed to in transit with an EDD bumped all the way up to 12/23/14.

Now it is back in "Awaiting Shipment" WTF?

 

Isn't that a good thing? Looks like you'll get your car earlier than expected.

My tracking still says my order is in processing but my dealer is telling me that the car has already been built and my EDD is 12/28/14. I think COTUS has no idea what's going on.

 

I don't know, it was in transit for only 2 days with a 12/23 EDD and now back to "Awaiting Shipment" with no EDD at all.

Not sure where it is honestly.

 

Chances are it hasn't been shipped yet. It's probably sitting on a lot outside the factory right next to mine waiting to get on a train headed south.

 

Im wondering why it went to "In Transit" with the Awaiting Shipment checkbox checked and a 12/4 date (meaning it was shipped/task completed 12/4) and now back to no EDD and Awaiting Shipment with no completed date though as you could see in the image a post or 2 back here

Hoping it was shipped and COTUS is just messed up since there is no EDD now at all.

My order just got updated with an EDD today.



Definitely not what I expected. That's a lot longer than I thought it would take. February is a bit ridiculous for an order placed in October.

 

It looks like your dealership had no allocations for cars (they ordered all they could for that that specific time period whether for the lot or other customers and Ford bases this on dealership sales volume). There is no other reason an order would sit for 6 weeks without being scheduled (other than a part shortage for an option you chose)

They should have disclosed this to you in all fairness.

 

That's what I was thinking. Now I wish I would have went with a different dealer.

 

Can anyone tell me why I can't open the window sticker link for my wife's car on the cotus site? When I click it, I just get a line of gibberish that looks like cartoon swearing.

 

When is your scheduled build date? Have you ever been able to open it? What is your current status on Cotus?
