So mine changed today from "in production" to "awaiting shipment" A frind of mine who works at the Flat Rock plants says that my car is still being built. He says it's still in "stamping" and could take a few days to be completed. My point is, don't fully believe that website. You may think your car is "awaiting shipment" but it might not even been built yet.

Deysha did my Mustang get lost? I know the date is just an estimate but last we spoke my car had arrived and was waiting to be delivered to the dealership on 4/20 I just called them today and they still do not have it and do not know when they will receive it. My salesman is on vacation so I'm not getting much help there.

Ordered mine on 4/10. Estimated delivery is 5/15. My dealer today told me build week is 5/4.
Probably depends on the model, options and color. When I ordered my Corvette years ago I remember that the plant builds batches of the same color one day or week for production efficiency.

2/6 Placed order with dealer 2/9 Order was placed with Ford 2/19 After Deysha's help I was able to get the order number and found the order was wrong. 2/20 Had order fixed. 3/12 VIN showed up 3/17 Estimated Delivery Date of 4/20 3/24 In Production. EDD still 4/20. 3/25 Window Sticker showed up. Deysha was dead on. 3/31 Production complete. Awaiting shipment. 4/02 EDD moved to 4/29 with 26 days left. 4/03 EDD gone. Still Awaiting shipment. 4/07 In Transit with EDD of 4/24. 4/17 Car arrived at rail yard. EDD moved to 4/21. 4/20 Salesman says Ford is holding several Mustangs at rail yard, mine included. Very sad. Hoping it gets released soon.

i called a fourth time and my car was there 
so thursday morning i'm going to take the three hour drive up and get my baby 
look out highway patrol here i come

They said it was still stuck on a rail car. Some BS about first one on last one off. My edd as been stuck on 4/27 for several days now. It's fine if that holds. Less than a week now. Others have been waiting longer.

when I got home from work, Cotus was doing it's usual can't find your car thing when after a couple refreshes, it came up as Delivered!!!!!!!! I went by the dealer even though I knew they were closed, and there she was in the very bad of the lot. My eyes teared up when I sew her. My first car was a 66 Mustang. I have 4 kids that are now grown (no more minivans or SUVs) I have spent the last 10 years telling everyone that when The Mustang and I turned 50 together, I would have another. And now it's here. I don't know how long it will take for the dealer prep and to install my sho and go, but I should be able to take possession by the weekend. I'll try to post some pics.

Enjoy it though, it made the wait well worth it for me. parts are arriving today for the Roush Quad exhaust, so I can't wait to get home and start tearing it apart.

Got my VIN yesterday (Thanks Deysha!). Looks like my estimated delivery date is 5/17. I am on vacation from 5/10 through 5/15 so I am hoping it will be there a day or two early so I can pick it up the day after I get back. Window sticker around May 1 with the build about a week after that.
