Limbo is great...

Finance manager at my dealership said "its still in Michigan but i expect it here this week."

I dont understand that at all since Cotus tells us 12-28 days average for shipping...

I ordered mine on 2/3/15. Was told 6 to 8 weeks. Was 12 weeks on Saturday. With no EDD in sight. I hope you have better luck than some of us are having. Don't rely on COTUS. Been "awaiting shipment" since 4/8.

They're just trying to make you feel better.

My dealer called and said if mine has no plans on moving, they're going to have one shipped in from another dealer 350 miles away and I'll pay the same price so I could be in the same model I ordered by the end of the week. He's going to let me know later today.

Good luck, BigEasy. I really hope you get it soon. All I get from my dealer is "nothing's changed" and "I don't know why it's been sitting in a rail yard for a month."

Was told 6-8 weeks the day i ordered.
Two days later i checked to see if they had placed the order.
They had.
Told me 10-12 weeks.
Its been 10 weeks, 3 days.
Car has been completed since 4/1 and released 4/17 per Deysha's help.

That should be nice.
Wish i was able to do that. I dont want a car that could have been test driven.

I was told i could pick any color i wanted besides blue with the options i ordered and the dealer would have traded to get it.
I picked blue because thats my favorite. The one color i had to order for.

When i ordered, there was snow on the ground, i wasnt in a rush then, and i didnt want to get the car salty anyways.

Blue here as well but since I'm so close to Houston where they have a million mustangs in stock, my dealer is able to do a swap for the one I want. He's going to let me know the mileage and everything on it later and I can decide then whether or not to have it brought in.

I wonder if it could be an issue with the blues.
Kimberly also had blue.

Deep Impact Blue
GT Premium
401a
GT PP
Recaros
Reverse Sensing system

Any else the same for either of yours?

DIB 300a GT PP.

Fun fact: I called into ford asking about extending the expiration on a $750 private cash offer I have that ends on 5/15. They said since it's a private offer, there's no way it could be extended even though the hold on my car isn't my fault in any way. I find that to be ridiculous.

The incentives available when i ordered are what i got. There was a $500 one if you took delivery before a date (that has expired) but i still get the benefit since the know its taking too long and im putting so much down.

It also helps that im a student and Ford has a $500 incentive if you can prove you're a currently enrolled student.

It could be something with the PP pieces.

I'm a recent grad so I'm getting that same incentive. I'm going to be pretty pissed off in not able to use that $750 though. I'm putting down about $12k on mine.

Financing about $16k for 2 years.

May not even want to finance and just pay the full amount instead when it gets here.
May reason for buying is to build credit and have a weekend car.

Ok, peeps. So I the fact that I starting searching for other dealers has sparked a fire under my dealer's butt. They have confirmed that, in fact, the issue is with the stitching on the seats; and though he didn't say exactly how many, he said there is a hold on a lot of mustangs with black leather interior. He was not told, however, when they expect to get this issue resolved. Told me I could come and check out other options for interior or hang tight. If anyone has any contacts that can tell us when they expect to resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

You may get lucky, as the issue seems to be with non-recaro seats. But the thought of the issue being the blue crossed my mind also.

Did he say which black interior?
The standard seats and/or the recaros?

I believe it's standard, because that's what I ordered--standard black leather.

Just called my dealer.
They had "no idea" of the stitching issue with the seats.

Its just a little frustrating seeing a car that was ordered after mine already being driven around.
If mine was truly released on the 17th, i dont see why it hasn't shipped.
Pay $800 for a destination charge and it sits for almost 3 weeks.
