2015 Ordered/Built/Delivered Thread
Shark 2 Arrived
Ordered in June . . . Submitted as soon as the Order Books opened. Built on December 1, arrived at dealer on December 31, picked up on January 3rd. Our first convertible!! Hated to give up the '12 GT but really wanted the Anniversary car and a convertible. Will have better pictures later.
It's really comfortable and fun to drive. Has anyone else said that . . . oh yea, right! Oh what fun it is to ride and . . . oh wait, that's something else. Yahoooo!!

Nice! I love convertibles and probably in the minority that think cars just look cooler (no pun intended) with a rag top. I have to say the 2015 looks much better to me as a convertible.
I got my first convertible years ago when I bought a used 1983 Mustang. I will never go back to a hardtop.

And VidPro, I agree with you. Although I haven't seen the 2015 rag top in person yet, the photos look better than the initial pics of the coupe did, which at the time, didn't push my buttons. I've since seen the coupe up close and personal and I've grown to like the new design.
The 2015 couple that got my motor running was a CO with PP. I'm interested in seeing a convertible in CO as well, but I suspect that the hot color for the topless Mustang will be Triple Yellow, although that silver ain't too shabby!!!
My guess is that the reason the S550 ragtop looks so good is that Ford designed the convertible as a convertible instead of just lopping off the roof of a coupe like the S197.
For now my '14 GT 'vert remains the love of my life, but should the charms of the new 'vert prove too much to resist, who knows what might be in my garage in a few years? Never say never.
I did it without test driving. Just looked a lot of YouTube reviews, etc.

I have a Guard Ecoboost premium arriving within a week. Been PM'ing Deysha here and she's been extremely helpful.
Also added the Performance Pack onto it for the larger wheels and the 3.55 gears. Got the black/ceramic interior. I ordered it on Nov 3rd but unfotunately it didn't build until 12/4 and then the plant shut down for the rest of December! But good news it's only 2 hours away waiting for a truck to pick it up! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that since it's so close that maybe I'll get lucky and it'll get picked up a lot sooner than next week! :-)

First off on my account, I'd like to thank you all for the kind words. The top on this car, besides having a lot more insulation, is made with an upgraded fabric and really impressed me. With our wonderful 70+ degree weather yesterday we were able to take the first extended trip south on The Coast Highway through Big Sur and down a little farther south. What an experience! Anyone familiar with the PCH knows the twists, turns, ups and downs and it was a joy to experience the handling. I have yet to run over to our favorite spot on 17 Mile Drive and get some better pictures but will do it soon.
Thanks again!!!

Now you can drop it off at my house, MyStang2010GB! Lol! Congrats!!
Here is mine. Got it 01/03/2015. I couldn't wait for Feb 5 2015 so I looked and I found one almost exactly like the one I ordered. Its a ruby red GT premium 401A package with recaro seats, 3.55 ratio, 20 inch wheels, back up sensors and voice navigation. This thing is a beauty. My first Mustang.

In three or four years I'll be looking to see where Ford takes the Mustang. Hopefully it makes me drool as much as my 2014. At that point I visit the bank.
So I've found out that it's taking about 12 weeks to get a car, I've decided to go down to my Ford Dealer and order mine. 15 Magnetic Gray Metallic V6 with the 051 pkg and Auto transmission. . I got the X plan plus a bit more and I'll be leasing for 3 yrs which I will then buy it so I'm getting a 5 yr 75k Warranty (from Ford) I can't wait to go tomorrow! I feel like a kid again!!
14 weeks to get my convertible--definitely worth the wait!
Ordered my convertible on 10/3/14, built 12/5/14, just arrived at my dealer tonight 1/9/15. GT Premium, manual, oxford white w/redline leather, 401A, 3.55 axle, 19" dark alum wheels, spare, spoiler delete, reverse assist. Just had to stop by tonight to take a peek (and snap a few pics). Can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. Those heated seats and rubber mats are going to get a lot of use!

Tom, I think you should go to a dealership today & trade the 14 in. Your car will never be worth any more than it is today. Order today, & you could have a CO or Triple Yellow pp drop top in time for the May start of the cruise season !!

Thank you for the kind words, SilverBullet!!
