I ordered a race red GT 401 package with 3.55 gears. We are doing a full build with Edelbrock SC, big brakes, coil overs, wheels, tires and so much more. In April 2015 we will be giving it away to a lucky customer at our 2015 Super Show. You can follow the build on Facebook.

i received a VIN yesterday! dealer called...
i can track it now. looks like build is last week of Oct. approx delivery to dealer around Nov 15. he also told me they have a V8 and eco coming in within the next 7 days...and that i have a test drive for both! cant wait......

I read somewhere that Ford was not scheduling anything again, until on or about Oct. 16th. Is that true?
No worries anyway, as my '03 KB SC GT is super fun to drive, and a nice car. On my vaca, in Maui, I will have a Mustang 'vert, six to tool around in, so I wont really be going through my Mustang withdrawls!!!

Probably sooner than that, depending on how much further the final destination is. Then a ride on the local transport truck to your dealer from the rail yard and you will have your new Mustang. I bet 8-9 days is more accurate. Good luck!

Why so long to get a production date and VIN

Ordered my GT Premium in Guard on 6/16/14. Web site still shows waiting on production assignment... WTH !!!
Anyone know why it is taking so long ???

Hey Bullitt my dealer ordered one 12 weeks ago or about the 1st part of July for another customer and it got a build date of 9/29 and estimates another couple of weeks to arrive at at the dealer.

We’ve only had a couple of weeks of scheduling, Bullitt 2015. There was none done last week or this week. We’ll start scheduling again next week. I’m happy to track it for you. PM me with your dealer's name and order number.
