I am curious however about the scheduling. I'm confused about how the whole scheduling thing works. I would've thought it would be non-stop with all the orders they must have. Why are there stops in scheduling?

Hmm, Disneyfun, I see yours got ordered on 6/13 and you have a dora, vin and even a build date. mine was ordered 6/5 and I have nothing yet.

Thought the SE's were to be the first off the line.

i dont know about the limited editions being first. my dealer ordered mine as dealer stock instead of special order for me. it shows built and an eta of 10/20, but i dont think it will make that since it has not shipped yet and has to come to AZ. hopefully i get it soon!

 

Well, so far I'm living the charmed life... I hope everything stays on track.


1. I ordered my Metallic GT +PP +Recaros on June 27
2. Approximately a month or so ago my dealer changed to a "Stock" order which somehow moved it up in the line quite a bit.
3. I received my VIN about 2 1/2 weeks ago and a "Scheduled to week" saying 10/13
4. Then a few days ago the status changed to "Scheduled to date" saying 10/15
5. Today the status page updated to "In Production" and a status of "Sent to Plant" in the source code - while maintaining a 10/15 production date.
6. COTUS is down at the moment but expecting a Window Sticker when it comes back up


Not trying to rub it in to all those waiting but hoping this will give you an idea of the steps you're likely to see/experience.

Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria, Dougxox:
-the priority code rating
-the dealer's allocation for each production week
-the ordered option content
-the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor.

Hey Rich, Nah, we sold both the '12 and '13 Laguna Secas we had. We're maintaining a '12 LS we set up for the track - pretty much a dedicated track car. We're also maintaining a 2013 Boss 302S out at the track (sweet car!). Loved the LS's but when chasing down an current year M3, you could just see the M3's IRS working. As soon as Ford Mustang chief said 2015 GT's would be Boss 302 track times it was the death knell for my LS's! LOL

 

well, somewhat confused.
dont know how this is supposed to work, so I have no reference point.
I would like to know what the wait is. My dealer ordered in early June, and so far nuthin!
Any movement would be appreciated!

It’s really hard to tell at this time, Garbone. We’ve only had maybe 3 weeks of scheduling since we launched, and we just started again yesterday. I’m sure yours will schedule soon. You’re welcome to keep checking with me.

Got my VIN yesterday but no production date.... One step closer at least..

 

I ordered mine 6/16 and got my VIN yesterday

 

mines been built since 9/26 but still has not shipped, eta date is monday 10/20, so i guess it wont make that. i know there is an issue with some 5.0 cars catalytic convertors, dont know if mine is one of them they have to fix or not yet.
