You know its funny I keep hearing from Ford that they have never seen this problem yet this is the kind of response I get from people that have posted about it in other forums:

Nope... My dealer stopped returning my calls. If they had even been remotely interested in helping me, I would likely have fixed it and then bought a new 350 GT when it came out. But given the current level of support I've been getting from Ford, I decided to not waste my time.

In reality, I'm guessing the one piece driveshaft would likely solve the problem.

Now I'm planning on ordering a new 2015 Corvette Z06.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I left a message with the service adviser yesterday and he has not returned my call. Granted we had a snow storm, so it is not unexpected.

I am going to drop in at lunch.

I just spoke to Leon. Hotline request submitted and received this morning. They have to check a like vehicle to see if this is systemic behavior or not. Leon compared it to the erratic shifting of the 11-14 Focus and Fiesta, which is how it is designed. Hypothetically, if another like vehicle has this problem, it will be ruled as a design feature and not a problem.

Have them pull my ford case up #5794483 They did the same thing. I told them for them to test a like vehicle they would have to find a track pack car (good luck on them having one sitting at a dealer since they made 2500 of them) as the differential is different the NVH would not show the same results. If I remember correctly you are not a Track Pack car BUT you have the 3.73 gears so they have to find a Mustang on their lot with FACTORY 3.73 gears installed that is a 2013 or 2014. Good luck with that too BTW. If they cannot show you that it is the exact same drivetrain as yours then they cannot claim it is a like vehicle.

I am about to the point of getting names numbers and Vins of people having this issue and having my attorney draft a nice letter for us telling Ford to take ownership and fix the issue.

If it was not a principle thing I would order a good 1 piece Driveshaft and see if it fixed the issue. As it stands I want to make Ford spend as much as they have to to fix the problem.

I am down for helping you collect any information necessary for that letter.

The servicing dealership does not have a manual on the lot that I know of.

I do not think the drive shaft will fix the issue. I truly think it is within the differential.

No like vehicles on the lot per conversation with the adviser. I am going to the dealership still at lunch to see what is going to get the thing going.

with all these people having the same exact issue why wont ford admit they have a huge quality control issue with the axle plant an d make it right. I assure you the bad press will cost them more than the repairs.
