Vibration Issues At Highway Speeds

Golden Circle was finally able to communicate with Hotline. They are going to run the NVH tester. But Hotline instructed them to upgrade the machine's software first, so they are doing that now. This means they will not run the NVH test until Monday at the earliest.
I am now counting the days to lemon law compliance just so I have a potential exit strategy. It is the second to the last thing I want, next to being told there is nothing wrong with it, but holy crap am I frustrated. It is too bad I like the car as much as I do. It would be easier if the rest of it sucked.
I also visited the service manager of another dealership after lunch. They confirmed that it will reset the entire process. That is not really a viable option at this point either.

I had a 13 GT with 3.73's and had developed the same type of vibration as well. Steering wheel didn't vibrate but you could feel it in the body and at your feet. I complained to the dealer service department, they road force balanced the tires and told me I was fine. When I got back on the highway it was still a problem.
I then went to one of the local tire chains and they looked at the tires and told me it was tire wear. This was around 15K miles. Don't remember exactly. I picked out 4 new Toyo tires and they put them on. Road forced balanced and an alignment. I got on the highway and the vibration still existed. Not as bad as before, but it was still there. They took it back in and checked the balance and it was within specs. The then put their best guy on it and got them balanced down to better than spec. Back on the highway again, still vibrated.
I did some research on the tires and found they were softer so I assumed that the vibration wasn't as bad since the tires seemed to absorb some of it.
Back out to the dealer and they sent it out to another dealer that has some sort of device/machine that they put on the car and it measures sound or something to detect vibration. Cost me $100 to have it done.
Five days later my car is back (got a free loaner) and is all set. I was told that the driveline vibration was my aftermarket license plate holder. It was a hide-a-way type and the bracket mounts under the bumper area. I was also told that they put some foam between the bracket and the mounting spot to help keep it tight.
When I got home I decided to take it off since I was travelling from Massachusetts to Maryland for vacation and didn't want the vibration for 400 miles each way. When I went to take it off, I saw no foam installed.
So with no plate holder on it I was back on the highway and the vibration was still there.
I've had the car since June 2012 and this all took place August 2013.
I gave up.
May of 2014 I traded it in for a Jeep Cherokee. The trade was for other reasons, not because of the problems. Hopefully the new owner found it and got it fixed.
I know this doesn't help you, but I just wanted to let you know that i'm another one that had the vibration too.

NVH test complete. Results sent to Hotline. They instructed the dealership to await a phone call from an engineer. They are expecting that phone call today or tomorrow.

Wouldn't mind at all would love to see a cure for all that are having this issue. Went to cars n coffee this weekend talked with a couple outer and they are having the same issue the both have 373 gears. This dealer was a lot nicer and happier to work on my car than ford of Murfreesboro. Good guys so far and said they will do it as fast as possible. There loaner car isn't as nice 2010 focus with bad tires and a few cigarette burns in the sears but if they fix my car I am happy to drive this for a while haha

What I am really curious about is if there is a problem with all mustangs, or just the 3.73 cars. With a 3.31, I would think you would have to approach 80-100 to see the same drive line RPM's as 3.73's at 65-75. This would just make it more noticeable at normal driving ranges with the 3.73's.

Cars and Coffee is a monthly cruise in. They hold them all over the country. and I meant to type couple Other not couple outer. As in a couple of other onwers

The reason I asked about the specific gearing is that if it is a 3.73 problem, it would seem to eliminate the rear end assembly and/or axles, and limit it to the differential, ring and pinion, or other part of the gear housing.
Not that it matters much; Hotline has to approve it first... lol

The thing I find interesting is it spans several years if it was a bad batch of gears I wldnt think it would go 3 years not to mention I can't find anyone with ford racing 373 gears that has the issue.
