is the APIM something you would have swapped in with the EP ??? I see there is As Built for it ... did you try updating the AS BUILT ?


EDIT: Oh .. I see APIM is the SYNC module.

APIm and PCM are untouchable without OASIS.

Were you able to do anything with them?

Sync apparently needs to be updated for me since I put in the nav.

I know under the reprogram menu there are only two items .. PCM and APIM and mine also says I need Oasis. But a PMI with the 2013 VIN would do the same thing. That is how I was almost able to attempt to reflash the PCM ...

We reflashed the PCM and lost our custom tune on the car. Had to use the hand held SCT device and reload the custom tune.
Tested and drove and everything is working great.
It is now a pretty easy swap to start with a '13 Base model GT

Plug n Play with the Steering wheel switch >

Through IDS run Program Module Installation >
Instrument Panel Cluster >
Module Programming >
Body >
PATS erase >
PATS reset >

Module Programming >
AsBuilt
(720-01-01) enter asbuilt for premium or boss w/track apps
(720-02-01) enter asbuilt for premium or boss w/track apps
wahlah.....

You are the man. I assume its the same for a 14 base brembo to 14 premium track pack gauges? Same procedure just year newer car and gauges?

It saw my PCM was part number CR3A and would not flash a DR3A calibration. Zero is supposed to be working on that 2011 PCM to make it flashable.

The PCM programming is done with a pmi. Don't need oasis for that.

IDS wouldn't let me get past the screen prompting me to log into Oasis when I tried to do a pmi.

Yes, super simple for '13 & '14 owners.
Make no mistake here, Jim010, DMHines, & ZeroAviation are the hero's here. Without these three pioneers, none of this would have been possible or brought out into the light.
Unfortunate for them, the added hassle of the black box. For '13 & '14 owners, this is an easy upgrade that you can do to a base model car being a significant upgrade. I know MANY people want the cluster without the other Premium Package stuff, leather seats etc, now it is possible to build a performance car and choose what YOU want to package it with, not what Ford wants to sell you in a package. The alacarte modding of Mustangs!

The only time I have seen OASIS required was for module reprogramming.

You didn't say you were a dealer when you installed IDS did you?

Jim, I think you did what I did when I first got mine. You need to download the patch that is in the readme file
This keeps the unit from saying it will only be a 3 day trial
Uninstall it and re install and follow the instructions on the readme file on the disc.
