I'm working on Cruise too, I'm thinking of attempting to use the switch, but replacing the resistors inside. (I have a rework station).
More to come.

What I can tell you with certainty is that our cluster has the cruise indicator light up in one colour when activated. The 13/14 lights up orange when you turn it on and then goes green when activated. 2 separate signals to our one, I assume. I'll post resistance values for the 13 when I get home in a few days, but I don't have the values for the 12.

Today I've been working on getting the Data converted. I'm trying to do this with a single CAN transceiver, to keep the cost of this device relatively low.
More to come.

I'm guessing you don't need me, then. I just bought a 2013 wiring diagram manual. Should be here next week.
Also just picked up a 2013 metric guage face! So happy. Its pretty hard to read those small numbers in the inner scale arc.
For anyone else looking for 2013/14 clusters, United Radio in Syracuse might be able to help.

AFR Test - I changed the method of communicating with the vehicle today, Mostly because the MCP2515 filter/masks were pissing me off. So it set me back a few hours of development. Anyway, here is a vid of the AFR working. I'm going to code the rest this weekend.
Enjoy. 2012 Mustang GT with 13 Gauge cluster AFR working.

Finished the IAT & CHT this evening. Its been almost two weeks since i've driven the car. So i figured I would take it out and grab a quick video.
More to come.

So all that is left is the oil temp and transmission oil temp for the guages. Awesome. And then the cruise and Track Apps.
Only thing left to retrofit would be the 2013 tail lights - if it weren't for that gap in the bumper.
And maybe those 2013 headlights...

Have not found a complete nav unit, so I have decided to go the Kenwood route with the I-datalink maestro and faceplate.
With that I will be able to have what the 13 cluster can do on the radio, and the i-data link faceplate mounts the radio just below the LCD screen by eliminating the havoc controls because they are now built into the radio.
Its actually a very nice system. Just waiting for I-Datalink to release the faceplate.

I was thinking, since most things are working, I want the D-Pad on my wheel like the 14! The thing that was holding it back was the cruise control. So first things first the pin out is slightly different. You have to shift #2(brown) wire to the #1 position in the connector. Easy. Now, the impedance of the selectors in the 13 switch is wrong for our PCM configuration. Not so easy fix, however, there is a work around. I removed all the resistors for cruise, and put them in the order in the schematic below. The only two things I cared about is turning cruise on, and settings speed. Luckily, I was able to achieve this. Barley. To cancel cruise just tap the brakes, to slow down, tap brakes and once you achieve the slower speed hit set again.
CNCL/RSM - Now turns on the cruise
Set (-) - Sets the speed.
These are SMD mounted components. If you are uncomfortable or don't have the equipment to do SMD work PM me and I can arrange helping you out. (For a small fee of course (: )
I have not pinned in the D-Pad yet, that's on the list.

Oil temp is done. I have a manual, so i don't have have Transmission temperatures. I'll have to work with one of you guys to get that setup.
More to come.
