Hello all!
Found this thread on this forum and made an account. I'm an active member on SVTP with the same screen name.

I don't have time to go through 112 page so i would appreciate if you guys would just tell me a BLUF.

1) I have a 2011 Premium, would love to retrofit 13-14 GT500 cluster with track apps. Any known issues specifically on 11's?
2) Can someone post a list of ALL parts needed? That would be MUCH appreciated.

3) Will any new functions unlock after good installation?

If that matters my audio set up is stock Shaker 500. (i mention this is becasue on few pages i see people mentioning IDS flashing, so not sure if IDS is maestro IDS kit or something else.)

I realized\ cluster is needed, ebay doesnt have any at least today so if anything i'll get one from a dealer online.

Also from quickly reading, do i need to give them 13-14 GT500's VIN or any 13-14 VIN with trackapps?


This swap would be great!
My car is slightly modded already so the cluster would kind of set off the interior and i think would look cool with rev gauges on the ipad in the car.

Zero Aviation is no longer a member and has long since disappeared. Your best bet is to either redo the resistors as I had shown in the 5 way switch or to program your PCM to that of a 2013/14 car.

Well, the guy's name is Matt Honeycutt, and he uses the zeroaviation username for alot of things, so you could try and track him down that way.

If you do get a hold of him, tell him I want my cluster back!!

I just did the swap on an 11 today, you CAN use the INFO RESET SETUP BUTTONS to control the ok is done by tapping setup multiple times. Reset is right setup one click is down and Info + Setup is back.

You can also take the d pad from a 13-14 and change the resistors in it to work. There is a post in the other thread somewhere on which resistors need to be changed. But really, the best thing to do is to program the car's computer to thinking it is a 2013 car. Then everything gets unlocked and works properly. Oh, and you need the abs module as well to get track apps to work.

Prior to the new year I had an issue that CC did not engage what so ever, and that the only thing that I could get to work was the DPad under certain circumstances. If I do NOT flash to a 2013 PCM (I have a 2011), then the CC light will not turn on, but that will also require me to essentially tune the engine due to the 2013 PCM having different tables than the 2011 in regards to engine performance. With respect to doing this retrofit, I've read most of the instructions from this thread (https://themustangsource.com/forums/...luster-529167/)

I've managed to get the D-Pad & Cruise Control to turn on (without flashing PCM, so currently the CC Light will not illuminate). The problem I ran into the first time was that my soldering job was an abomination. I ended up buying a heat pencil from amazon, used solder paste to put the SMD resistors on, and it worked. The right tool for the right job, ya know?

Here's the layout for the pins and everything (image below)


Here are the resistors required (2.00x1.25mm):

Another issue I came across when installing 2013 premium cluster into 2010 premium car is that I have OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message every time I start the car. Oil life reset doesn't help.
The thing is that I did not put any additional wires from light switch to cluster (C220), I have connected light switch directly to clockspring switch on the wheel from the cluster side. Can it be the reason? Please help

Cruise control does not work also.
