Boss 302 Side Exhaust Install/Discussion

If I do this I have to be able to turn it off otherwise I'll never be able to drive this car at night when the cops are out without possibly giving them a reason to pull me over. I'd rather not try to explain to them on the side of the road that the exhaust is a legal ford piece. Also with the baffles it's kinda well... pointless.
No, they don't have anything better to do.

Plus...I don't think they're that loud from outside the car, by design.

Congrats!! Sounds bad a$$ in the video...but i know for a fact that it's even better in real life!
We need someone to collect a video from outside the car. Ford claims that by angling the exhaust downwards, it made it much quieter for everyone but the driver....so i have no clue how loud this setup is from curbside.
I'm working on getting a video from outside the car. I would love to know how it sounds at speed and I'm not talking about just a simple drive by. Maybe I can get this done by the end of the week.

Somehow I suspect that 4valve-GT will get his up first!

Just put these on with the GT500 mufflers and the sound is absolutely amazing. Perfect sound IMO. At idle, it's a deep mello rumble. Put your foot into it, and wow!
If anyone's on the fence about these, do it, NOW!

I just thought I would report back now that I have had these on for a couple of months.
HOLY CRAP, I LOVE THIS EXHAUST.
It fixes the qualities of the Coyote exhaust note (weird firing order induced maybe??) that I didn't like...now it's raw, balanced, nasty and perfect. Never offensively loud but pronounced and unmistakable...classic natural, muscle machine racket.
It quiets right down to near-stock when you're foot is out of it.
My only complaint is the price. It seems like they could have turned a profit on this assembly with a smaller price tag...at least it makes the system slighly more exclusive.

I think $400 would be a good price. I'd consider it if I could also keep my O/R-H pipe.

Approaching my 2nd year anniversary with my 5-0. I've been wanting to add this kit for a while now, and I figure this is a nice way to celebrate. I'll most likely order a set this week to compliment my GT500s.
I can't imagine what it sounds like with the more aggressive setups; I've watched the videos you guys have shared, and they're awesome. Just sort of envy experiencing those sounds first hand. But at the same time, it's exciting to know everyone who's added the kit has loved it with whatever axle backs they have in place.
