I had a small noise from the right side and found that I needed to tighten up the bolt holding the side exhaust to the frame a little more. It was letting it viberate, noise is gone now.
The QTP QTEC302 is easy to install. For the wiring you can go through the shifter boot if you have the stock shifter on or if you did the sound tube delete use that hole to run the wires. I put my switch inside the console and used the power from the power point there.
Also, the best price I found on them was from Summit Racing.

rattling isnt an issue. it really boils down to installing them correctly. once I adjusted mine it has yet to do it again.....8k plus miles later....

I have had my Boss quads on for about a week now an I have not heard any rattle. I will say getting everything lined up during install was a pain, especially in the front by the cats. If that was not lined up right during my install everything was off!

Alright i got the cutouts installed. The wiring was a pain in the azz! I cannot believe how quiet my Roush AB's are when the cutout is closed. I found that i had the ball flange bolts close to the body causing to buzzing/vibrations.

Got my Boss racing quads installed today, but I had Steeda do the install. The quads sound awesome! I really couldn't be any happier with the additional rumbe and sound they produce in addition to the SLP's in the back!
Had to roll down the windows on multiple occasions (even though it was pretty rainy out today), to enjoy the new exhaust music! Like a symphony!!!
I'm really happy that I decided to add the quads to my mod list!!

I already have Boss h-pipe with side pipes, Boss rear diffuser and Magnaflow street series axle-back awaiting the arrival of my 2013 GHIG GT that's on order. My 2012 Boss sounds great with its open side pipes and OE mufflers, so having the Magnaflows should only be an improvement.

My car is totally stock (drivetrain).
As for daily driving, the sound might be too much for some. I only drive this car to work once a week or so, but I still think I am going to try one of the 7/8" plates and see what that sounds like.
Any follow up on the 7/8" plates and the sound quality?
Thanks to all for any assistance.

Has anyone installed ( on a 5.0 GT ) the Boss side-exit exhaust in combination with the 2013 GT500 quad-tip axle back mufflers / valance? I love the look of the GT500 quad tips out the back...and I've heard the side-exit Boss setup on a 2011 GT. Wondering what it would be like to have both of those setups combined.
