Do you guys think you can give me some burnout lessons? I mean dont get me wrong I can smoke the tires with the best of them....but when it comes to dropping the hammer and getting to the break quick enough...now thats a different story
I can show you how to do a power stall/burnout with a standard. It's a trick to do, but not hard. Basically you rev, dump the clutch and then put your foot on the brakes hard enough to to keep it in one place but not too hard to stop the rear whels from spinning.
This braking trick is something I need to learn before the Shelby meet...
I'm thinking with the DRs I should be in the high 12s...Dave we need to run against each other this next Friday to see how our DRs do...
I love the brake trick! I agree Jeff high 12's should be realistic. The DR's should make the difference. I hope my car is ready in time to re-mod and race by Fri.

They said that they ordered parts.....funny thing is they never took it apart so I hope they can fix it with the parts they ordered. I'm going to call Benji tomorrow and see what the status is. Not getting much info from this John character. He seems really busy everytime I call him.
I wonder if I can talk Benji into taking the trans out of a new car and putting mine back into the new one when it's fixed?

When I went to get the money the other day it was not in the shop anywhere and Randy and I went to look for it. Benji was busy and I didn't get a chance to ask him about it...
Tell him we'll give him a free BMMC shirt if he gives you a new tranny... Hell , we'll even autograph it.

I don't think John is shunning me I just think he dosen't have time to deal with anything. I have called him twice and both times he seemed a little put out like he was busy or somthing? Same old story, if it's warranty work it gets done last, and with the least amount of care involved.

It always amazes me that they have to order parts so much. Don't they stock anything besides oil and oil filters? They had to order my cabin filter and that is an item that is on the 50,000 miles checkup...maybe it is financially bad for them to stock certain things. I have found almost all dealers to be like this though..
