Anyone here want to trade a 3.03 Toploader 3 speed for a 67-68 Mustang GT rear valance? I still have my old 3 speed and would like to get rid of it for something I could actually use.
This is the valance:

Mark, were you able to go to Larrys yesterday? If so has anything been done to the 67? I need to know before I drop by and pick it up, because if he has started I will wait.

Mustang is back at home after over 3 weeks. Some parts should show up this week, and hopefully my new window regulator will show up too. If everything goes according to plan I will have it in the paint booth the second weekend in February.

I'll probably just trash them, they were the whole problem. Drivers side is pretty much too far gone to fix and the passenger side was barley save able.
I already have my stock scoops back installed. So all I have to do is finish my body work, prime it, and send it off to paint.

After paint I will be getting new exhaust. Going with a Magnaflow stainless steel polished muffler. This will allow me to run just a single pipe to the muffler and get duals out the back.

Go to Clanton Muffler in Madison. Don't just look at the price of the muffler but the total of what you get with your exhaust system. Robert is the best I have seen around since Luther Hick's place shut down 20 years ago. Buy local!

Clanton told me it was like $400 to do my exhaust and that the way I wanted it wouldn't work. I know they are wrong since I know someone with the same exhaust setup I wanted.
I use Jeffs Muffler.

I bought the valance this week. Have it in my room waiting to be painted. I would trade my trans for some taillight lenses.
I am still using the bellhousing on the 200, I do have the shifter for it.
I need an extra set to tint.

Alright, well I am almost there. I don't work tomorrow so I am going to start the tear down. I am pushing for it be in the booth the day after my birthday. That will give me time to drop it(needs about 3-4in. drop) and put it all back together by the cruise.

Well it is finally being taken apart for final preparations. During this though one of my bumper brackets/supports snapped in 2. It was 43 years old and filled with mud. So now I have to order a new set of them.
