Amy,

Forgive me if I am wrong, but was that you with Carroll at Palm Beach Barrett Jackson and the unveiling of the GT350H Vert?

Just curious?
Watch every day and did several bids, however I was too low every time.

Go to time-mark 7:20 and play..."We concentrate on the Mustang, we don't try to go out now and build trucks, or...."

I did see a grill, from another company, that had the ribbon emblem but I didn't drill down to make sure it was actually included.
Just to clear this up too. I looked at the grill of an SGT and the ribbon emblem is a snap-on not a part of the grill. See Amy's post below above for purchase info.

What do you mean by snap-on??

I can see a bracket of sorts behind this one.
See?

I know the horse badge is easy to find, it's attaching it that same way that's the difficult part...I emailed Scott Drake for help, even a badge with longer posts would do just fine, cuz I can adapt it after that. Thanks for your help.

yeah...from my 3 min trying to look up around and through, it seems to be two pieces with teeth or something that slide through the gill and clamp together holding it in place. It's not a part of the grill itself. I wish I could tell you more as I said I had about 3 min.

No I did not respond. I ended up buying a 66 fender badge, then with the help of another member, I was able to install it on my Shelby grille. Looks fantastic! I should get some pics.

Thanks Amy.

Forgive me for asking these questions- I'm still new here- but...
Is the Shelby GT hood going to be available seperately in the future?
Are the side scoops the same as the ones on the GT/CS package?
Are the bumpers also going to be available seperately in the future as well?

The side scoops are standard GT/CS fare--as are the bumpers. The scoop you can replicate by pop-riveting half a plastic trashcan to your hood.

I like the Shelby GT and I like the riveted on scoop too. The quality of the scoop on the Shelby GT is very poor. I have seen it on two of these cars and the scoop was wavy. It looked very bad. Hopefully someone will come up with the quality version.

Yea there is an issue with them. Mine has the wavy issue on the drivers side. I think that is the side they are having peoblems with. Shelby is swapping them out. I have to call my service guy and have them order mine. I am guessing the tool for the injection mold wasnt top quality or the QC guy didnt pay attention. I hear it is fixed now.

I'm glad to hear there is a fix. I would hate to have paid that much for a car and have to live with a wavy scoop.

you mean you cant order a hood from ford or sai to replace a damaged shelby gt hood? what happens to your shelby gt if someone hits you on the street? i guess the ford gt appearence package hood will be close enough.

I am sure if you own a SGT you would be able to buy a hood or scoop to repair a problem. I am speaking of just buying it aftermarket to mod your car. This question has come up on the SAI forums from a guy who owns a SGT and he wanted th put the scoop on his F150 and was not able to get it.
