The grill is available BUT I would not buy it. It simply lays over the existing grill. On the SGT, and my only real issue, is the fact they cut out the emblem and remove the driving lights but leave the stock grill in place. BAD BAD.

Here is a better solution:

http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/699.html

A little different but a better option for standard GT owners looking to get the SGT look.

IMHO!

Some have said that it will not be available to prevent cloning. This does not make sense to me since you have the S H E L B Y letters available on your website and I can purchase other GT500 items on other websites as well.

There are a number of us that really love the new badge and it seems that it does nothing but promote Ford to have it out there on the street.

PLEASE offer this for sale. I'd rather you sell the badge and NOT offer the SHELBY letters.
I would think it would be A LOT harder to do clone the Shelby dash plaque and the Shelby body tag on the radiator support. The fender badge kicks ***!

Well, I thought I ask. After all, it is a Shelby trademark exclusive.
But I am confident Shelby will have no need to retain counsel on this one.

Does Amy still post here?

I have a problem and need an asnwer as soon aspossible. I bought the GT/CS fascia for my car which i also ordered. I don't want to clone a shelby GT, i just like the look of the facsias and no spoiler, not going for stripes or other...

Anway, I want to paint the lower center portion of the front fascia. My dearler is telling me, after they already painted everything else, including the small columns just above the lower portion, that because of the materials and texture, his body shop guys cannot paint it this piece and he even thinks it is a different piece (which I thought the GT/CS and the Shelby GT had that same fascias).

How does shelby paint this piece. He says the body shop is telling him that even if the prime it and paint it, the paint will be peeling off within the next month....

Yeah I dont know where she is. I had a couple of questions as well...

I wondered how they painted the that center part as well. I have a black GT/CS so it's fine for me...it does have that texture to it, but I didnt think it would be impossible to prime and paint.

Guys, they DO NOT paint that center portion. It was painted on the prototype cars but it is not painted on the actual production cars for the same reason your dealer told you.

In an interview last week Carroll Shelby specifically stated that they have no desire to d anything now other than the Mustang and the Cobra. He specifically said "no trucks".

Sorry!

These are not available from any source that I know of. I believe, don't have my SGT yet, that these are integral to the grill and not sold on the after-market grill you can buy from SAI due to Ford licensing issues.

I did see a grill, from another company, that had the ribbon emblem but I didn't drill down to make sure it was actually included.
